It makes really thick rotis but can use for another things so still useful.

Not worth to buy

It is indeed cast iron, and they didn't skimp on it; with minimal pitting.It comes flat-packed for self-assembly, a straightforward process of double wing-nutted bolt to attach the handle, and a bolt & inside threaded pivot pin to attach & hinge the top piece. Both fixings are over-sized off the shelf parts, probably also explaining why one is wing nuts and the other Phillips-or-slotted flat head. No washers supplied, and everything so loose fitting that they're not needed.The joints are also way oversized - I have more than half a cm clearance on the handle side and almost as much on the other. I would guess there's a lot of variation in manufacturing, and it's done deliberately to cope with it, but it makes it pretty sloppy.The mechanism is a basic hinge, which is a pretty poor design since it means on the hinge side it's fixed to about 1mm gap from the bottom plate, and on the other side opens fully obviously and also pinches down to touching. Dough allowing you could get a flat disc of ~1mm thickness, but nothing else, and more likely you won't press it flat. It would be far better to have some mechanism such that the plates open & close remaining in parallel.It's *ok*, but I think if you're to have a dedicated tool for this, this one has too many shortcomings.

I like the material that it was made of. I made flour taco shell and it worked awesome.

The media could not be loaded. Sehr stabil und schwer. Tortillas bzw. Taccos sind super geworden.Für den Preis TOP!
