Just my kind of brush, not too soft, not too hard. Best on dry hair though.

Great brush but will make fine hair frizzy and can't be used to put into a point tail.

I have a MP hair brush and wanted to try this one out to compare it. It is a good quality hairbrush at a fraction of the price. I like that it spreads oil from the scalp through the hair.

I have medium length slightly wavy fine hair - and the two most annoying things are frizz or it getting greasy looking.I had read good things about boar bristles helping with greasiness, and was excited to try. I don’t know if my hair just is more tangled than others - but the bristles didn’t seem to actually get out any knots - more just smooth over the hair on the outside. I will say it seemed to decrease frizz - but I needed to use another brush with it to get out the knots from underneath.

This is a nicely made boar hair brush. Its bristles are stiff enough that you get some detangling but definitely not as much as a detangling brush. My daughter has shoulder length, fine hair and she usually detangles with a regular brush then uses this to pull the oils through her hair. It definitely helps for oily hair.I like that you get the two brushes. The smaller one is perfect for travel or carrying in a purse or bag.They do include a little comb for cleaning out the brush periodically which is really nice. It works well too.I am impressed with these brushes. Definitely feel like they are a good value.

These boar bristle brushes are made out of artificial boar bristles (plastic), they are still enough to detangle, but flexible enough to not pull too hard on knots. The brush says that the bristles should be great at redistributing hair oil and giving the hair luster, so I tried it on day-old hair before applying any dry shampoo. It does seem to do a good job of fluffing the hair back up.The smooth wooden handles feel great in the hand, even on the smaller travel sized brush. The brushes also come with a wire hair remover comb so you can upkeep your brushes, they have a 2 month warranty which is great if you end up with a faulty product, but so far in my experience they seem durable enough to last long past the warranty.Overall very pleased with the brushes and would recommend them to anyone looking to improve their hair care routine.
