Sound is slightly muffled.Does exactly what I was looking for. A case to protect it from the elements, either sun or rain. I like that I can see the recording LED and it's a snug fit. Although it's personal preference, I like that it's made of hard plastic rather than 3D printed.With a snug fit, the mic is covered and sound is slightly muffled. Depending on content, sometimes I leave the cover slightly open. Having a second close point would have been nice for this option. The case is a little hard to open when the camera is in it. Not a deal breaker but a tiny bit of a pain.Although the fan is very quiet when I plugged it in, the whir is noticeable when recording. If you are going to use the fan and care about recording the sound, I'd suggest getting a shotgun mic to mount in one of the cold shoe mounts.Normal USB-C wires fit through the wiring hole but it's a snug fit for the wires. It's about an inch of space behind the camera.

Great concept good design and function
They fit the cameras well . They do help keep the cameras going longer but I guess I'm just in the wrong state for the cameras to last outside no matter what . These function the way they are supposed to . I do think that the design for the rear of the case could be adjusted . Getting charging cables in and out are difficult and when a camera needs a battery pack plugged in during a live broadcast easy access is important .

Good for hot sunny baseball games
This seems to work well for the hot sunny baseball games. My husband is recording most baseball games.

Mevo Camera Shell
Works great keeping our camera from overheating or getting wet. The only downfall is you can hear the fan when recording videos.

Cannot use charging cord with this case.
Nicely built,but you can't use a battery pack whith this case. No way to plug it in, thru the case!
