Cabinet Paint Protective Clear Semi-Gloss Topcoat, 31 fl. oz, Quart

I bought this protectant midway through a cabinet painting project. We painted the first half of our cabinets without this and noticed some of the paint getting worn down from high use. After reading through pages upon pages of suggestions, I found this. The main thing I was concerned about was that the protectant not yellow with age since we painted our cabinets white. The only complaint I saw on this product was that it had a milky tint and so would slightly change the outcome of colors underneath, but since we were painting white it seemed like a great option. The second half of our cabinets were painted and immediately coated with this protectant. It's only been about a month, but the cabinets look great and seem to be well protected!

Used this product to finish vanity cabinet doors in my new remodeled bathroom in my up stair’s bathroom. Works great,does what it’s says it will do and you get a great shine .Will use on my other two bathrooms and my kitchen.

So easy to apply. Did have to apply 3 coats but the finish looks so professional. I also added a top coat which gives the cabinets a shine and sealer.

I bought and applied this product probably around 2 years ago now. My main issue was not taking enough precaution against tannins and I just have brown streaks running through the gray. That was my issue though probably more than the product. I would make sure to look into something to stop the tannins from bleeding through though. It does still look good in a lot of places though!

We ended up spraying the cabinets with this paint and they turned out beautifully. Would purchase again. It took 2 gallons to complete all the cabinets in an RV but looks professional.

Maybe I received a defective batch, but using this "Topcoat" caused heartache and then repainting. Applying this "Topcoat" turned my bright white cabinets, yellow. Angry and annoyed, I waited until the next day to make sure, then repainted over this mistake and now my cabinets are white again. Maybe I have the yellowed look imprinted on my memory, but some cabinets still look a little yellow so I'll primer them and repaint, again! Everything has been Giani, and until this, everything was great, but I just wanted to warn you that this turned into a step I wish I hadn't taken. Clear coat is not new technology, so this is difficult to understand. Be Careful. Maybe paint an experimental surface 1st to make sure it won't yellow. I have a quart of topcoat I can't trust now and annoyingly, its wasted $$$.

The product worked well. Easy to use. Kit nearly complete with most everything you will need. Took 3 coats of paint and 2 coats of topcoat. Looks great on bathroom cabinets. I am pleased.

Very easy to use. I also put clear coat on two coat of each. Was wood finish (of course I can't find before pictures) sanded it down washed with tsp and painted came out awesome!!
