I was getting tired of my broadband supplier locking me into a contract with built-in price rises, so I took a chance on buying a 5G router and this unlimited data sim. It was one of the best purchases I've ever made. I'm now getting upwards of 300 meg speed in the day, and 500 meg (sometimes) late at night, when the phone network is obviously less well used. That matches and exceeds my previous 250 meg broadband speed, which is a fibre line to the house. Fantastic. And if I go on holiday anywhere (UK only), or move house, I can take my super-fast broadband with me.As I've never been on the Three network before, I did check online to see if I was in a good area for Three, and it was fine. If you're still unsure, try a one-month sim to make sure it's a good network for you. But always come back to this company for your long-term deal - they do sims for all the other networks too. The cost per month is incredibly low, and I'm the kind of person who likes to pay once, up front, so now I don't have to pay again until July 2027. No internet bills for 19 months!Customer support was excellent. I needed the 'mature content block' removed, and that happened in less than 24 hours. There are more blocked sites than you think, not just the obvious ones, so you may need that. It's very easily removed, you just ask.Unlimited actually means 1000 GB of data, after which your connection is slowed until the month rolls over again. For me that's not a problem. The router is telling me how much I've used and I probably won't even break 500 GB this month. And that's with me watching a huge amount of internet TV, and doing a lot of downloads and uploads. Not a lot of 4K TV in that though, so if you have a big household and everyone wants to watch lots of 4K movies all day every day you might reach the 'limit'. Even then, the company contacted me and offered a 'truly unlimited' deal, but I didn't need it to pay the extra for that.One small niggle was that my IP address kept changing, sometimes every minute, and that made my banking site constantly log me out, and there were problems staying logged into my web-based email too. Looking online I found that you can change the default APN to '3internet' and that will give you an IP address which stays fixed for longer. My problems disappeared as soon as I did that. You'll need to check online how to do that with your router - mine is a Cudy 5G router, also bought from Amazon. From what I've seen this seems to be specific to the Three network.APN = 3internet, leave the username and password blank, and set 'Authentication type' to PAP.I bought this sim to test it until my fibre contract runs out, and it's so good that I've switched off my old box altogether, and use this sim card for 100% of my internet now, with 3 computers, a TV, tablet, and mobile phone wifi all connected to the same router, powered by this Three sim.Highly recommended.

★☆☆☆☆Very disappointing experience. The service suffered from ongoing network issues, with no timeframe for a fix despite repeated contact with customer support. I requested compensation for the poor service, but instead they refunded my purchase and terminated my SIM without informing me beforehand, leaving me without internet and no time to arrange an alternative provider. They later admitted their communication “could have been clearer,” but by then my service had already been cancelled. While I appreciate the refund, the lack of communication and unexpected account closure means I cannot recommend this provider.

Works straight out the packaging but support is only available by a 24/48 hour email system which is mandatory if your browsing is gambling etc due to a filter which is removed upon request. The unlimited is limited to 900GB but running a 5 bedroom house with streamers didn't use all that so all good.

So far very good. Excellent price. Using with strong Wifi Router in forrest setting.

I had an issue with the old one purchased for 2 years and this time I am going only for one year unlimited data SIM. The signal quality was in some months really poor or weak so I decided not to make an investment for 2 years as I might see a better offer somewhere else. Fast shipping, easy to fit...thank you!

had an issue getting it activated support responded quickly to help out. Make sure you get a newer router to maximise your download speed. you can use it as a single user almost like a broadband connection and its much cheaper. Probably cant handle multiple users streaming

Stopped working after a few weeks

You know when you look at something and think this sounds too good to be true...Well this really was the real deal. I bought a TP link Deco router and Three was the only service giving me 5g signal. So after investing in the router and being impressed...I thought I would take a punt on this sim deal. Impressive..put it in the slot and next minute I was getting 300~380 mbps download ..and have been for a month now and I live just outside a 5g area .. Its worked out (I had a discount code from Amazon ) at £8.33 a month for my internet..but even without that code it would still have been bargain of the century . So yes its a bargain...and it works..its limited to a fair use policy of 1000mb per month but I game and stream on mine for ages and don't really come close to that. I did contact customer srevices (sim comes with a card giving you all contact details ) so to remove the over 18's lock and I received a reply withing hours and the lock was removed within 24 hrs..so bonus points for cutomer service
