Major Improvement to Meyer Lemon
I am thrilled with this plant food. I have a young Meyer lemon tree that has been struggling since I received it in April. I was a little hesitant to use this product because of reviews regarding odor as well as the instructions that say it should be placed 6 inches from the trunk. As I live in Colorado, my lemon tree is potted so I was concerned the plant food might be too harsh. I finally decided to use it, sprinkling about 2 teaspoons as far from the trunk as I could, watered and now a week later I have flower buds! The leaves also look healthier. As far as the odor, it's organic so it will have an odor. I am sensitive to odors but this really hasn't bothered me, maybe because my lemon tree is in a fairly large area. Regardless, the results are worth the temporary inconvenience.

Fixed my potted lemon tree!
My potted lemon tree always looked poorly, although it produced lots of good-tasting lemons. After the first feeding with Citrus-tone my tree looks amazing. Also came through our months long heat wave of over 100° temps really well. Won't know how the lemons taste for a few months yet, but am hopeful they'll be the same or better than before.

Espoma Citrus Tone Plant Food
I just applied this Espoma Citrus tone to my Meyer Lemons which are in pots. Their leaves had been turning yellowish, and they suffered more fruit drop than usual. The ingredients looked good to me, and it was easy to apply. I sprinkled about a cup in each tree's pot, and scratched and watered in. Too early to say how they will respond, but the product seems mild and likely to provide the extra boost my lemons needed.

Great product, stinky but I apply it when outside during the summer, produces a lot of Meyer Lemons!
I have used this for about 4 years on a 3 foot tall Meyer Lemon tree (I keep it trimmed to this size) that I have had for about 10 years. It works great but is extremely stinky being made of organic manure. However, I place this potted tree outside in the summer and simply apply the Citrus-Tone while it is outside in the Spring and in the Fall before I bring it in before the first frost. I can smell it for a few weeks but it eventually diminishes. I tried it once inside during the winter and was forced to scrap the stuff out after my family complained loudly. I get 14-16 five inch long lemons each year using this fertilizer and highly recommend it. I will buy it as long as I have this tree. I also successfully used the product on a miniature orange tree I used to have, also about 3 foot tall, which I raised from a 6 inch sapling, which produced over 150 oranges a year.

Works well?
I don't have anything to compare it to, I did no scientific tests, I just accepted the word of people who know more about plants than I do. I bought this for several of my citrus trees, and only used it a couple times through the year. My citrus trees have done very very well this year, and I do believe it's in part because of this fertilizer.Only downside is that if you're using this for indoor plants, you might dislike the smell. It's pretty strong, and not a good smell. It doesn't bother me so much, but my wife hated it when I used it the first time just before I put the plants outside in the spring. I couldn't smell it after a couple days, but she could for probably a week or more (or so she claimed). To be fair, I don't have much of a sense of smell.

Clearly measurable results in just a few weeks
I bought three small potted citrus trees in the Spring. They grew nicely in their original pots all summer long, but needed repotting this fall. So I repotted them before bringing them in for the winter, adding this fertilizer to the potting soil . Six weeks later all three trees have really grown and are loaded with blooms... in November. It wasn’t my intent. I was expecting them to go dormant for the winter, especially being inside. I think the warmth of being inside with the intensity of the sun in the south facing window and the addition of this fertilizer inspired them to another bloom.
