First, this is a very nice item for the price, you really can't beat it.The design is simple, yet still attractive.I got it for photography use, as a 'model', just stuff I'll use in still life photography.For my purposes, it's prefect, it's very inexpensive, it's very nice looking, and made well enough to last me a lifetime.I would think that the majority of people that buy this would love it, the outer cover is tough enough, although, it's a man-made material, plastic of some type. The reason I know this is, I bent it, crumpled it, hit it with blunt objects, rolled it up, and tried my best to make it appear older. It worked!The inside pages are printed well, the paper seems to be good enough, although, I honestly haven't written in it.For my needs, I halfway ripped out some pages and left them partially 'out' to give it a real, old world look.I used a green Scotch-brite pad to scuff it up some, making its appearance like it's been around the block a few times. I also used dirt to give it a 'dustier' look.To me, it looks like a bible, it's way too thin to be a bible, but when looking down on it, it looks just like one.So, in my photography world, it'll probably be used as a bible, along with other old looking things.I will probably upload a picture tomorrow, I'm sure that there aren't too many people that want to do this, but, there may be one that might.All in all, it's very much worth the little that you will pay to own this.Although the appearance has been changed slightly for my picture, it really works for my needs.

I’ve used notepads, other journals or organizers to get consistent with journaling and it might just be in my head, but this journal just feels so nice writing in that I get excited!Ok, simple features I love - the feel of the cover and the design just looks like a mystical book housing secrets of the mind (which is sort of is); the option to check off the day of the week and weather is so cute but also helps me stay in the moment, so to speak; and the thickness of the pages is perfect! If I think about the date, the weather and the day of the week, it puts me in a ‘present’ mindset.It also feels like real leather (glad it’s not), it’s sturdy, and overall, I just love this journal. Only so much can be said about a journal, but beyond the reasons I mentioned above, something about this journal gets me excited enough that I’ve been journaling everyday since it arrived!Take this review how you will, but aside from the nice features, I just oddly attached to it!

This is a pretty good notebook. I got the notebook to express how I feel throughout the day and there’s notebook hasn’t disappointed. It’s very smooth to write on. There are plenty of pages In my opinion it gives an option on the page to date it and to “X” what day of the week it is and whether it was sunny, cloudy or rainy that day, which I think is pretty neat for what it is I love the cover the cover for me was the selling point and I do not Regret my purchase at all 10 out of 10 recommend

I purchased after reading some of the other reviews. I got the Brown leather one, and it is stunning! Many people have commented on the beauty of the cover. I enjoy they day, weather, date etc entry features at the top. I was under the impression the pages would be thicker. While they aren't whispy-thin I write with a standard Pilot G2. You can clearly, but faintly, see the print on the other side of the page. They are thin enough that in turning, I often grab 2 pages without noticing and there is a random page gap in my entries. Not a fan of that. Other than that flaw, the pages do have an elegant look to them. They do not sit flat as advertised. They do open to a complete flat angle without the bump but this is with effort to hold down the left side to keep the page you are currently on from floating. I enjoy the joural's compact size, and display worthy ingraining on the cover. The place holder ribbon is also a charming must. All in all the little guy is worth the $8 or so I spent. Took off a star for the pages.

La portada está hermosa y es buen material, bastante flexible y fácil de llevar a todos lados, solo hubiera preferido que las páginas fueran más blancas qué amarillas y la orilla no es dorada es café, pero aún así esta lindo

This journal feels like a soft leather. It is beautiful especially for the great price ! I bought this as a gift and it does not disappoint !
