One of the few grips I found without finger grooves, have checkering, and are not rubber. The lack of finger grooves as important as it allows you to put your hand high on the grip without feeling like one or more of your fingers is resting out of place. These are significantly slimmer as well. I found that stocks like this point much more naturally and then the rubber or the target grips that normally come on Smith’s. The fit on my 686 ProSeries is extremely good with minuscule gaps. These are very expensive. You can get custom Ahrens grips for about $10 less. I went with these as they don’t flare out at the bottom like target grips. I find they carry much better. Sorry for the potato picks. Cell phone camera and low light. It does show how good the checkering is. ;-)

One Grip For All Smith & Wesson Revolvers
These JM grips are the best I've used in decades of shooting. I despise finger grooves and Goodyear grips that come on revolvers anymore. Best of all, I have these on all my Smith & Wesson revolvers. The great thing about that is, they all feel the same when I pick one up.This is a fairly thin grip. If you have extra large hands or like rubber grips you may not like these.I recommend you give these a try.

Fits really loose, screw too long and damaged frame
Not normal quality for Hogue, fits really loose, screw too long and damaged frame. The instructions tell you to put a piece of tape on the frame if theres slop; I had to put 10 pieces.
