Davines LOVE Curl Anti-Frizz Control Styling Cream

I was worried this would be too rich or heavy for my fine strands of 2b/2c hair. I could not have been more wrong. This stuff is great with the summer humidity. It locks my waves into place and keeps them there for at least 3 days. I find it works best to emulsify the product with some water before raking it thru my hair, but brush styling on wet hair does the trick as well. The fragrance is what i've come to expect from Davines, light and natural scents, not overly perfumy and it doesn't hang around once my hair is dry. My only regret is not finding this sooner as I only purchased one bottle before the company discontinued it. I have enough left for the rest of summer, a little goes a long way, but then it's back to the drawing board. I love Davines products because you generally only need to use a small amount which makes the price point reasonable in the long-term. However, I'm not looking forward to paying their high prices to experiment again, as I recently discovered Amazon is not accepting returns from Davines.

Good cream. Strong smell but I don’t have a problem with that. If you are looking for something natural or organic, this is not it. But if you want a cream to tame your curls a little without adding weight, then you might like this.

I fell in love with this product at the salon so I’m glad I found it on Amazon so I can refill as needed. I love the scent and the curl hold is perfect for my thick hair. As someone who is very low maintenance with my hair, this product is perfect whether I air dry or use a diffuser.

Didn’t know I had curly hair until I grew it out after 40 years. It’s worked well.

Love this product for my naturally wavy hair. It only takes a small dime size of product to keep my mid-back length hair from frizzing and losing its beach wave look. I put a small amount in my towel dried hair, scrunch it in, avoiding the scalp, then comb it through and scrunch again. Using a diffuser my hair will actually get quite curly with this product. The best part, it dries with a natural finish, is not heavy, nor gummy. And the next day I can still comb my hair. I’ve used other product with more hold, but those dry with my hair leaving more of a wet appearance, is crunchy and I have to wash my hair if I want to comb it the next day. This is the best product I’ve used!

The product works very well but it smells like detergent and it is so strong that it lasts all day. I have so many Davines products but this one just didn't work for me.

I've always been adverse to using hair product but man, the number of compliments I've been getting on my hair since starting to use this. I comb my hair post-shower and after it's been toweled and combed a bit I put this in and scrunch up my curls. Really emphasizes my natural curls and highlights, helps it not be frizzy. I'm so pleased. I've tried so many other products over my life but never found something that works with my particular hair like this does.

It’s a good product and leaves the hair smoothe and hydrated. normally when reviews comment on smells I assume it’s just a preference thing and try it anyway. Wow, it smells like straight chemicals, kind of like a can of drugstore hair spray. I’m a bit torn because I like what it does but my head smells like sanitizer and it stays, even after later applying another product (mousse) with a pleasant smell Just be prepared, it’s not a floral or fruity “bad” kind of smell, it’s a straight chemical smell.

Rende davvero i capelli crespi un po' più definiti e l'effetto dura due o tre giorni. Non dà quel fastidioso (per me) effetto bagnato e non appesantisce il capello. Senza dubbio il prodotto migliore che abbia provato in tanti anni di ricerca. Un po' caro, ma li vale.
