Unfortunately my work laptop wouldn't allow the device to auto download the driver and I wasn't able to find it on a web search - im sure it will work fine for others. Returned and refund processed just fine - great service.

A change of laptop meant a change to USB 3.0 from a USB C unit I had already. After downloading the driver as per the enclosed instructions it is almost plug n play. Solid / well made USB 3.0 connection too without any movement

They haven't bothered to reply to my email asking for advice regarding how to set this device up as it is not recognised by my laptop. So I will have to return it for a refund!

Glitchy but can make it work. Purchased as my work laptop has limited outputs to extend to two screens. A driver needs to be installed to make it work, pretty simple to follow. Once connected to the both screen via this adapter. The screens would switch off intermittently. To bypass this issue I put one HDMI through the adapter and one directly into the laptop and the screen issue stopped. Settled for this solution as it was the 4th attempt to make this laptop function how I need it to and does the job, albeit not how it’s intended to.

I love this USB switch. Most of my accessories or plug in devices have not switched to the USB C standard yet. So I needed a switch that has the regular USB ports on it. I found this one that had 4 USB ports on it. I like that it has a button on top, that I can press to toggle back and forth between two computers. This is my current setup. I have a surface docking station that I use my surface devices on. I have the surface dock plugged into PC 1 of the USB switch. Then I have a mac mini that I use on the other side. I have that one plugged into PC 2 of the USB switch. I can easily switch back and forth. There is probably about a 3 second delay on the switch from one to the other, but nothing extreme. I have a Logitech Unifying dongle plugged into the USB switch and my keyboard and mouse switch over to each device. I also have a printer plugged in so I dont have to keep unplugging the USB cable to the printer and switching it. Then I have an external drive also plugged into the switch. Everything that I have plugged into it so far has worked and switches over. I do have the external power plugged into the switch as well. Two USB input cables were provided with the switch and the external power adapter. I give this a 5 star review.

This thing is absolutely amazing for the money - extra screen, extra ports, and it's so small it's amazing. It's amazing - if you're looking for this type of adapter this one is the win. Plug it in - within seconds your second screen comes up with no problems. I'm using an external hard drive, a monitor, a USB key and printer. Perfect, perfect size, perfect cost, perfect everything.
