I can only compare this to the Remington head shaver, but it seems like night and day to me... I have been using the Remington head shaver for about a year now, and it works but it is not the best. The shave is close, but not as close as this model. More importantly, the Remington one is a bit rougher/doesn't cut as smoothly; the motors have also jammed up on me a few times. On the other hand, the Manscaped Dome Shaver is really nice. I have used it 3 to 4 times in the last month or so. It cuts closer, runs smoother, and can be held in different ways. This one I can and want to use every few days; where as the Remington one, I had to wait for one skin irritation to calm down. I got the version with only 4 blade heads, which I think is more than enough; if you are in a hurry, you might get the more expensive one... Waiting for the company to sell replacement blades for this model, so I can stock up for a few years.

My husband shaves his head quite often and I bought this for him to see if it would be easier and it has helped significantly! It’s super sharp and traps the hair inside so it doesn’t get everywhere. The battery life is great and you can use it a few times before having to charge it and it comes apart really easily to clean.

Update: blades stopped spinning after about a month of use. Beyond disappointed. Took care of it and cleaned it after each use. ------- After reading some reviews, it looked like there were some issues with the 5 blade pro option not being super responsive (the blades didn't quite flex as they were supposed to as far as I could tell) so I took a chance on the 4 blade standard option. I don't regret my decision for a second. This shaver is easy to clean, gets a real close shave, and hits the contours of my head perfectly. The usb-c charging is a must when traveling to cut down on cables and the battery life is great. You cannot use it while it is connected to power, but I'd assume that also protects the battery life. Ain't a problem for me. Incredibly easy to clean, I've had no issues with the magnets, and you can separate it down into 2 pieces (battery + blades) which is great for traveling. There's nothing else I could ask for in a head shaver. I've only used one competitor previously with 4 blades and it broke down on me after a year so I needed an upgrade. TL;DR The 4 blade checks all the boxes and feels incredibly high quality. Gets the closest shave I've had with a head shaver and I've experienced no issues with flexibility or responsiveness. $100 is pricey compared to competitors, but I don't regret it for a moment. Worth it for something you use daily.

I love this product (& others by Manscaped), but I did have some minor breakage with regular use. It may have been that I was too aggressive cleaning it, not sure—cleaning directions are clearly printed in the guide that comes with, and I tend to really get after it. But this review is about their Customer Service. They give you an email; it’s the speediest response I’ve ever gotten—within the hour! And they were very generous with their solution. 👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼

I found the 4 head design preformed as well as others that had 5 heads and was much easier to clean.

I am very happy with this shaver. I had another well known brand that only lasted 2 months before it stopped charging. This one works great, battery lasts long. I also had to contact customer service after I dropped it and broke the connecting piece between the head and the shaver. It was very easy. They were very friendly, helpful, and the replacement part was delivered quickly with no charge.

November was the first time the blade attachment pieces broke. Excellent customer service. They replaced the piece. It lasted less than two months. Broke again. I don’t use it daily. Maybe twice or three times a week. And it works great. Holds a charge great. But this seems to be a design flaw. Might need to look elsewhere.

I have had two. Both break within six months. Same piece both times (connection between base and shaver) Not worth the money.

Niet zoals verwacht, als je uitgaat van de reviews zou dit apparaat een topper moeten zijn maar dat gevoel/idee heb ik niet. Het voelt niet lekker aan als je met het scheerapparaat over je hoofd gaat en in de nek is het nog vervelender. Het scheer resultaat is ook niet geweldig ik heb na het scheren geen glad gevoel. Voor een stukje plastic dat ook nogal breekbaar aanvoelt is dit scheerapparaat veel te duur.

Ich war schon lange auf der Suche nach einem guten Rasierer für den Kopf und habe wirklich viele ausprobiert, aber keiner war so gut wie dieser. Der Manscaped The Dome Shaver hat mich wirklich umgehauen! ​Die Rasur ist unglaublich sanft und super nah an der Haut. Es gleitet so mühelos über die Kopfform, dass man kaum merkt, dass man sich rasiert. ​Auch die Reinigung ist ein Kinderspiel. Man kann ihn einfach unter fließendes Wasser halten und ist sofort fertig. Die Akkulaufzeit ist auch top, ich muss ihn nur selten aufladen, was super praktisch ist.
