The title says it all! I've been through 4 other air filters and all have NOT lived up to their claims. Im a smoker but my wife is not and she has mild issues with her sinuses. I've designed and installed a air system that removes the air in the room and blows it into the attic. But the vents are in the ceiling so we still need a good filter system down low. I had been looking at the SHARK unit for few weeks and decided to take a chance. After I hooked it up and went through the quick and easy instructions I turned it on the AUTO function and let it do it's thing. My wife returned home from work and asked if I had been outside all day. I said no and that I had been inside, and asked her "Why"? She said that she didn't smell any cigarettes or stale smoke smell. This filter is definitely worth the money! It does a great job removing fine dust particles and it's very quiet. It's amazing how good it works compared to the size. It's small for a entire house filter. It picks up kitchen odors 3 rooms away. And cleaning the pre filters is super easy and makes the main filter last much longer. Dollar for dollar, this filter is probably the best unit I've had the experience of using. And it saves you money because you don't have to buy a new filter every 3 months.

So far so good. We have only had a few days, so it's early. They need to ask for reviews after 30 days, etc. Not 2 days. This was a "renewed" product. Everything like brand new, perfect. New odor element, new pre filters (2), new sealed HEPA filter, brand new as advertised. Very quiet, on low and medium fan I cannot hear it. It does sense well, went to 70% after oven smoke occurred and "cleaned" for 20 minutes back to 100%. It weights 12 pounds. Easy to understand operations. Would suggest they would include operations manual in box. Not easy to get off the internet for layman. Would recommend as a "To buy" OK product easily so far. Transaction was good and delivery was fast as well. When in Auto mode I cannot hear at 1 meter away.

Working well so far. The high fan is loud. I like the instant feedback with the air quality indicator. Seems the unit is working well. Time will tell on how long the filter will last. First picture is the first day running. Second is after about 5 full days running in our office. Smoking is allowed in the building but not in our office. So air quality isn’t great. A more proactive approach in Auto Mode would be a great improvement. Design – Functional but Bulky This is where my biggest complaint comes in. My wife jokingly says it looks like a modern-day propane tank, and honestly, I see it! While it has a futuristic look, it’s a bit bulky and doesn’t blend seamlessly into our home. I personally would have preferred a sleeker, more slender design that complements modern interiors better. However, Auto Mode could be more responsive, and the design could use some refinement for a more seamless fit in modern homes. If Shark develops a sleeker, thinner, and more refined version of this product in the future, I would definitely be interested in checking it out. Despite these minor drawbacks, I love the Shark brand, and this purifier is a strong contender for anyone looking for high-powered air purification without the hassle of constant filter replacements. Bought refurbished , they change filter which lasts for 5 yrs. , just vacuum 2 side screens every three months. Works perfectly with all the smoke currently coming from Canada. On automatic , it speeds up and down automatically and shows on the front percentage good, fair, poor. So glad I PURCHASED IT.

I LOVE it! I bought a refurbished one because I have had good luck in the past with other (not necessarily Shark) products. It is still returnable for a bit if there were any issues with it of which there are none so far. Arrived on time and well packaged. Super easy to get going. Basically, you drop in the included Odor Neutralizer (instructions are on the little package that that comes in), plug it in, turn it on and you are in business. It could not have been simpler. I smoke in one designated area of my home and have two dogs. By the time my husband came home from work it was impossible to smell any smoke odor. It’s like a miracle. Noise level is minimal. I was lucky to have a place to put it where it is pretty much out of sight but can still be heard. Once it detects that the air needs to be cleaned it will automatically work a little harder and create more noise. If you have a Shark Robot vacuum, it is about that level. As it cleans the air the noise level decreases and it can barely be heard. Is not even loud enough when it is working its hardest to have to turn up the tv. I’ve only had this less than a week but, honestly, it is probably one of my absolute favorite purchases for my house. I highly recommend.
