Wow, where do I start. This saw (58CC, 20" bar) looks and feels like it belongs in the toy aisle at wall mart. If it was possible to make a component on it plastic instead of metal, they did. I do not expect to be able to pass this to my children, I just can't see this saw surviving regular saw abuse more than a few years. How this saw runs and cuts, however, is polar opposite to how it feels and looks. I chunked up a seasoned 30" red oak like it was butter. It starts cold in 3 pulls (2 with the choke on, a 3rd with it off) and starts warm in a single pull. My only two real gripes, are that the handle feels like its going to bend if I put any leverage on it, and it uses 40:1 fuel, where all my others use 50:1. All of this is to say, were this a $300-600 it would be an easy 1-star. Spend that money on a quality saw. But for less than $100, I'm truly blown away, it even make me chuckle how cheap it feels compared to how well it runs and cuts - 5 stars all day. I considered buying a second one for a parts saw.

The Silliest Paperweight I’ve Ever Bought! I purchased this chainsaw a little over a month ago, and it sat happily in the garage until today. With winter looming, I finally decided to tackle the grueling task of clearing the fallen branches in our yard. I envisioned my husband looking rugged and efficient. Instead, he spent hours aggressively playing tug-of-war with a piece of plastic. This chainsaw simply refuses to start. My husband and I followed the instruction manual word-for-word, step-by-step, but to absolutely no avail. There is no roar of the engine, no sputter of hope—just the sound of his own heavy breathing and impending muscle soreness. We even resorted to deep-diving into the depths of YouTube, watching countless tutorials on "the secret" to starting this specific model. Apparently, the secret is that it doesn’t start. I finally reached out to the seller to ask what hidden blood ritual is required to get this machine running, but I’ve yet to get an answer. After dozens of failed attempts, I decided to take a video recording of my husband pulling the cord. It’s not an instructional video; it's just pure, undeniable evidence of a major disappointment. It’s basically a silent comedy routine at this point. Before we bought this, I explicitly told my husband we should get the insurance. He scoffed and told me, "Insurance is for suckers!" Well, guess who the real suckers are now? We are. We paid full price for a very loud, non-functional lawn ornament. If you are looking for a machine to cut wood, look elsewhere. If you are looking to build your husbands upper-body strength via pulling a starter rope until you cry for him, this is the perfect product for you.

Fair warning, the chain that comes with the saw is hot garbage. My recommendation is to not even bother using it. Throw it straight in the trash and order a better chain when you order the saw. Replacement chain is: .325 Pitch / .058" Gauge 76 Tooth Also, the replacement NGK Spark Plug is a NGK 6703 (BPMR7A). Do those two simple things and this saw runs like a champ. Pulls strong and cuts well. Easy starting as well. Couple pulls is usually all it takes from cold.

This is a great saw for the money. I bought the 58cc/20" variety. It has great power but it is a bit thirsty because of it. It started on the 3rd pull right out of the box and runs great. The handle assembly feels cheap and I often hit the kill switch with my thumb as it is very close to the handle. My only real issue is keeping the chain tight and the cover on. My first use I lost one of the nuts for the chain tensioner/cover and the other came loose. It ruined the chain so I replaced that and tried again. If I make the nuts too tight the chain binds up. So I used a lock nut I had in stock and the remaining original one. My next use saw the remaining original nut loose and gone and my lock nut holding the cover on. Otherwise the saw is a beast. It easily cuts thick logs. It always starts easily and runs great. I would recommend it. It is tought to beat for the price.

So far it’s been a great saw. It’s a little heavy but it’s aluminum crank case instead of plastic so it’s expected. Started easy on the first start. Cuts great a little loud but has tons of power for the 20” bar.

**★☆☆☆☆ Never operated properly, and warranty service was far more difficult than it should have been.** I purchased this chainsaw in March 2026. It has been used only four or five times for very light work, and the fuel tank has only been filled twice. From the very first use, the saw was extremely difficult to start. Once started, it would not idle and had to be kept revved to stay running. It also would not restart when warm without partially engaging the choke. These problems existed from the day I purchased it and never improved. I contacted customer service expecting a straightforward warranty claim. Instead, I was initially asked to perform mechanical troubleshooting on a nearly new chainsaw, including removing parts and following procedures that should be performed by a qualified service technician. After I explained that the saw had never functioned correctly and provided a video demonstrating the problem, I was offered a $29 partial refund to find my own repair technician. Anyone familiar with small engine repair knows that $29 doesn't even cover the cost of diagnosing the problem, much less repairing it. Only after several rounds of emails did VEVOR finally offer either a replacement or a full refund, but even then I had to clarify that they would provide a prepaid return shipping label. I still have to drain the fuel and bar oil, package the saw, and take it to a shipping location because the product was defective from the beginning. I recognize that VEVOR ultimately agreed to honor the warranty, and I appreciate that. However, the amount of time and effort required to reach that point was far greater than it should have been for a product that never worked properly. Based on both the quality of the chainsaw and my warranty experience, I cannot recommend this product.

The saw worked perfectly. High quality. I have other vevor tools and going forward, I will buy only vevor tools because they are as good as the big name companies in some cases even better but are way more affordable. I recommend vecor tools any day of the week.

This is a great chain saw. Works very well. You just have to learn how to use the choke. Just out half.

Very dissatisfied with the entire process. The tension screw is warped and will not turn therefore I cannot tighten the chain making the chainsaw unusable. Amazon does not allow me to return the item directing me to the vendor website. They have offered to ship me a new tension screw but it will take 3 weeks to arrive. However based on the design the tension screw cannot be removed. Horrible experience. I would like to hear from Amazon on this.

Yeah this saw works very great. Better than husqvarn but I would recommend always getting extra chains when you order because it's better just to replace the chain when it starts wearing out instead of trying to sharpen

Good quality, started good after I dismantled the pull cord ended up finding a broken bolt in the fly wheel. I still don’t know where it came from. After finding that and removing it. Started easily.

Well let me say this . I cut roughly 20 cord a year for my self . I have a still ms270 . And this just blow it out of the water !! No comparison. Only on the 4 th tank . Easy to start . It does like its fuel. But still braking it in . Fuel ,oil caps are a little cheap but they do what they are intended to do . The weight and balance of this saw is very good . So far no complaints.
