Quality item
Love the quality of this item it’s a nice shape different from the normal larger salt and pepper mills they look nice on the table . I am so pleased they came undamaged as they where put in the card envelope with absolutely no packing whatsoever if they had been thrown over my gate they probably would have been damaged I was lucky to have seen the delivery driver and he handed the packet to me

Recommended, but make sure you order the right thing!
We ordered two of these, one for Salt and one for Pepper - both of them have an "S" on the top which is confusing - I'm not sure if we've been sent the wrong thing, or if the S is simply for "Salter" which to be honest would be a bit of a poor design decision if so - particularly as the manufacturer's name is also on the side of the grinder anyway! This niggle aside, it's a great quality grinder that allows you to choose multiple grind settings if you prefer coarser grinds. Recommended, but make sure you order the right thing!

Looks great on the table
Easy to use, very sturdy and has a bit of weight to it. Looks great on the table. Has the ability to change the size of the salt grain too. top quality looks and feels great , for the price can’t fault it, 10 out of 10 from me very happy indeed and would purchase again

Wood Could Be Finished Better
I may have been unlucky (as I've got lots of Salter products which I'm really happy with in terms of quality), but my salt mill could have been finished better - the wood is just a bit rough in places, and not been sanded properly. Some 1000 grit sandpaper has sorted it out, but it's disappointing from a brand like Salter who are normally so good. Salt grinding performance is excellent, so only a minor quibble.

Really nicely made Grinder
This is a review of "Salter Edith Acacia Mill – Wooden Grinder, FSC-Certified Wood, Ceramic Mechanism, Adjustable Grind from Fine to Coarse, Suitable for Rock Salt BW13049AEU7"This is a really nicely made and good looking grinder. Mechanism works well and it is adjustable, easily refillable too.I already have a perfectly adequate pepper grinder (not Salter) but I think I will probably order the matching pepper grinder to this, as they will make a lovely set.Recommended.- - - - - - - - - -Note: As a member of the Vine program I was supplied with this item free of charge. Nice quality salt mill
Most importantly, performance is excellent. You can put rock salt of pretty much any size in there and it does a good job of grinding it to a consistent size. The grinding mechanism is firm and robust and the finish looks great. The only caveat I can see is that this individual grinder is only really suitable if you just want a salt mill. It doesn't make much sense to buy the salt and pepper mills separately for a total of £30, given the plethora of really nice salt and pepper mill sets you can get for less than that. However, if you only need a salt grinder (or a pepper grinder for that matter - make sure you choose the pepper variant!), for £14 this is a very nice quality salt mill.

It does the job, slightly damaged
The grinder is made out of wood and it is very smooth, well polished and finished. It's not as big as most common grinders. Easy to fill and use. Holding it is a breeze and you can get a good grip. This looks great on the kitchen island and stands proud showing off its flair and style. The standout feature of this grinder is that it can grind coarse and fine depending on how loose the nob at the bottom is. When used there is a strange squeaky sound to it. Unfortunately, mine came slightly chipped at the bottom which is not a big deal as it is not very noticeable.Overall, it is a nice-looking salt mill, it does the job, but better quality control next time.
