Presto 06620 11-Inch Electric Skillet

So far love this 11" electric skillet.. Perfect for a few people. Got it 4 days ago and have used it the last 3 eves. It has more room for cooking then my 11" pan I use on the stove. I easily made 3 grilled cheese sandwiches in it , (could of fit 4), Sauteed mushroom , peppers and onions, And veggie bacon... It cooked well. is easy to clean, and I'm able to store it inside my stove ( which I never use). So much easier than uncovering my stove top and then having to clean it. Only thing I wasn't happy about.. the instructions say put something heat resistant under it.. They recommend foil, but not under the feet because it might slip.. I put down a towel and a piece of foil on top so it did go under the feet and it didn't slip at all . However I have had a few other electric skillets and never had to worry about it burning the surface it sits on. This one does get hot.. and just seems to me if that is a concern the CO should find a fix or include some type of heat resistant pad or tray to set under it. .. that being said I still gave it 5 stars because i m really happy with it. Hope it lasts for a decent amount of time , if not I won't be so happy. Update: Have had this 2 months now and hoping it lasts a long time.. cause I love it more all the time. Use it a lot. Scrambled some egg beaters with cheese 3x's now and even that was simple to wash off.. Was hoping to get an 8X 8" but I guess they don't have it.. Want the same brand.

I've come back twice to edit my review after having this skillet for almost 2 months & it still gets 5 stars. I just love this thing. I bought the grill that goes in the skillet directly from the manufacturer at gopresto.com- it was $10 bucks & I figured it would be worth it in the long run- I like using it when I'm warming up frozen pizza's - they come out nice & cheezy with a crispy crust. I've literally made anything you can think of with this little pan, it's so versatile. I've used it to fry, steam, broil, grill, slow cook, etc. I will never go back to a stove top for frying because this heats so evenly, my fried chicken comes out amazing and gets rave reviews EVERY SINGLE TIME. Making rice in this thing is fail proof because the lid is really good at trapping in all the steam. The only thing I haven't figured out how to do successfully is bake a cake in this thing. I tried a couple times & it was a major fail so if anybody reading this has any tips- please let me know! But two months of almost daily use & this skillet is still going strong. I even let it soak overnight (by mistake) which I saw other reviewers advise not to do & there's still no peeling. I'm so happy with my purchase. I did a lot of research before purchasing this item & I'm happy I did because it's an amazing product for the price.

This is a great little skillet. My apt. has a tiny kitchen area so I needed some way to cook food as I have no stove and I didn't want an appliance that cooked enough for a whole family so when I saw this, I decided it may fit the bill. It's the perfect size, big enough to cook for 3 or 4 when needed, doesn't take up a lot of space and I really like the plastic lid because the slow cooker I bought has a glass lid that's really heavy and steams up so you can't see inside anyway so this is great. The height of the lid makes it possible to cook a small roast or chicken and it's also great for soups, hard boiling eggs, making stew and frying chicken which is the main reason I bought it for and the sides of the pan are high enough that it is easy to fry chicken, or make bacon and eggs, or even flip pancakes! The cooking surface seems to heat up evenly so the entire pan cooks the food quite nicely. It's got a non-stick coating that I really like because it makes clean up a breeze and once unplugged and the heating element is removed, this pan can be washed without worrying. I am completely satisfied with my purchase and if I ever need to replace it, the cost is reasonable enough to just order a new one. This pan is perfect for people with small cooking areas and it cooks like a dream so would make a perfect gift.

I love this! Nothing cooks a roast like an old school electric skillet. It didn't stick, heated up quickly, looked great and is easy to clean. The only problem, is that the leg screws never stay tightened so they are not very durable in that area.

I love this skillet, It is life changing for me, as I am gluten free, and don't have a stove top. I have made flat breads and pizza with it today. The cost of gluten free bread is very high about 5 times more than a regular loaf of bread, so homemade is the way to go. I use this to make a quick meal and it only takes a few minutes. I mix my dough flour in a bowl and add a tiny amount of coconut oil in the pan, then mash the dough ball in the skillet to fill the whole square. I have been using the 200 degree mark and they cook up fast. After two minutes it is ready to flip and this is where you add your sauce and toppings or just layer on some hummus and veggies and fold in half for a sandwhich. Can't wait to make more wraps with this, corn wraps, millet, and tapioca with almond flour. The bonus is, this is nonstick, so you don't even need to use oil. If your debating, this is the one to get.

I bought this skillet in June 2014 here on Amazon. We've hauled it to hundreds of race tracks - used it on the side of our trailer using a generator and countless times in hundreds of hotel rooms all over the west, in addition to breaking it out at home. NEVER a problem. It's not afraid of travel, being manhandled and getting wet. Dinners, breakfasts... saved us hundreds of dollars on the road, enabling us to eat delicious, hot food, freshly cooked. In 9 months I've gone through two other brand skillets - the last died tonight in the middle of its third uses - and it had been handled with kid gloves. I'd love a glass lid for home use (why I went with the other brand twice now), but this thing is amazingly reliable and durable. Simply amazing!!

I am using this in an RV. Was having problems with propane tanks so that left me to cooking in a microwave, [no thank you] DUH light bulb goes off. Electric skillet. Amazon as my go to, ordered this little guy (just me) arrived 6:40 this morning (over night) I put it together, couple screws (lid handle& pan handles) cooked me some bacon & eggs. Was a happy camper. eggs, no sticking, better then in my so call good frying pans. Just made a snack, bacon & cheese Quesadilla, pan held a 12 in Tortilla perfect. As you can see I gave this pan a 5+ By the way gets up to temp pretty fast also ****** Works great, Love it. *******

This is the perfect size for my hubby and me. I had replaced my old one with another skillet and it was huge. This one allows me to cook enough food for a small family instead of a huge family. I wish it had the vent the old prestos had in the lid that is the only downside as steam comes around the edges. The surface is easy to clean as well. I'm very happy with it. Large enough for 5 brats, 4 burger patties and enough casserole for two plus some left overs so just perfect.

I have no stove in my bachelor apartment so I decided to get this bad boy!!! The reviews are right, it’s a complete even cook, it’s easy to clean, it heats up super fast. 10/10 would recommend!!!! I love it. I’m excited to cook again.

Tengo muy poco tiempo usando la sartén, me gusta mucho, tamaño perfecto, altura ideal, la tapa ligera (no he notado que guarde olores, como lo había leído en algunos comentarios) calienta parejo, nada se le pega. En resumen perfecta.
