This is a really fun "talking book" for toddlers. There are different combinations of effects and information available for slightly older ones that they can enjoy learning and testing themselves on if playing with an adult. For the younger ones they just love all the sounds and it's robust enough for lots of bashing as they try to hear as many sounds as possible! Also delivers names of animals, objects, etc., in French

Purchased for my 18 month old grandson for Xmas. Pleased with purchase, I think he will love it! Arrived 5 days earlier than expected which was great (was due to arrive on 23rd Dec) so was very happy with the delivery. Nice sturdy educational toy, good pictures and sounds as expected from Leap Frog toys, easy to use. Good size for young children to hold. Good value for money. Pleased with purchase.

Excellent product. My Helper and I had a very good time playing with it. It's for my nephew's little children. The eldest, a boy, loves seeing and hearing different languages, especially as he is already bilingual, Welsh and English.

We bought this for my son's birthday because he loves pointing at things in books and having you name them, we thought this could do the job for us! I have lots of good things to say about this and one small gripe. Volume settings Two volume settings is great - lots of toys come with these now, and the lower one is usually enough! It's good to have the options though in case we're in a louder environment. Ease of use You don't need to read instructions for this - it's really obvious how to operate straight out of the box. The various buttons (on/off, volume, English/French, song star) are clearly labeled, and our one came with batteries already in it so it was good to go from out of the box. Durability This is a big one for us! Our son is 14 months old and doesn't have total awareness of where his body parts are yet. He squats over this when he uses it and often ends up standing on it. This hasn't affected the operation at all! It is totally up to the challenge of a heavy child treating it as a seat or stepping stone! Gripe My only gripe on this product is that if you leave it alone for a minute or so, it stops responding. You have to turn it off and on again to 'wake it up'. This is a bit of a shame because it means if my son doesn't continue to engage with it, he can't return to it without my help (the on/off button isn't something a baby could operate). So sometimes he goes over to push some of the pictures and is disappointed and confused when nothing happens. That's a bit annoying when we want to encourage him to use the thing, so we have to be quick in turning it off and on before he loses interest.

Absolutely brilliant! My daughter loves playing with this! I was scared she might rip out the pages somehow but so far it's proven really strong. The colours of it are brilliant- they're bright and pop and the designs even draw me in. Buttons are so simple- you just touch the illustrations and it speaks the word and makes a sound to accompany it and it's not too big to be inconvenient but small enough it's easy for my lg to carry around by it's handle. Definitely a fun learning toy for kids and toddlers!
