Fila Memory Workshift Slip Resistant Shoe

bought these a couple times and not bad for price, good quality i wear the everyday for work they last be about a year or so and comfortable

As a tall woman who needs a 12 or 13 in shoes, it is HARD finding shoes that meet the specs I need for work (black, non-slip, wipe-clean, no soft or mesh uppers....) that also actually fit and are tolerable comfort-wise. I've lost track of how many pairs I've sent back because the sizing was way off or because they were as comfortable as strapping bricks to my feet. I bought a pair of these last year (Workshift-m, 10.5 M US) and FINALLY, a work shoe that works for me! I wish I could afford to order a dozen pairs in case they ever discontinue them. I had tried them in 10.5 4E Wide but those weren't proportioned right for my feet so had to return them as they were seriously uncomfortable. The regular 10.5 M size is just right though. The fit is good and with my own gel-insoles inserted, the comfort level is just fine, too. Just as important, I have never lost my footing in these so the non-slip soles are reliable. I ordered my last pair in Aug 2022 and even with wearing 8 hrs a day, 5 days a week, it's taken 'til now, a year and a half later, for them finally to be showing enough wear that they need to be replaced. I just ordered my second pair last week and the fit & comfort level hasn't changed so the $20 price increase was worth it. Very happy not to have to deal with searching for, ordering, and returning a bunch of pairs from other brands to find something that'll work. Thumbs-up to these Filas, please don't ever discontinue this style

So anyone buying slip proof work shoes like myself are probably working in a wet environment dealing with presumably food adjacent work. For me, it's a fishery. All my work shoes last roughly 90 days. These Fila shoes were a good price, took longer to break in then I'd like (about 3 weeks, were tight at the toes for a 9.5 Wide but got to shape in time). The pleather coating only started falling off about 80 days in or so, which for constantly having scalding hot shrimp oil, poached salmon water, or lobster fat on it was pretty good I'd say. The foam cushioning gave way after about 5 weeks but still offered good support for 8 hour shifts. Work shoes for under 70$ are never going to last longer then 4 months, once these broke in they're the second most compostable work shoes I've ever had. Not enough to buy another pair, I got mine for around 34-ish. However if the pair I replaced these with don't work out, I'm buying another pair if they're under 42$ and dear reader I suggest you do the same. The actual slip resistance was really solid too, light treads so nothing really got stuck in there. Stink resistant too tying back into the fact again, fishery work. The material is good at not absorbing water, oils, or scents. Anyone in food services should know that if it gets in above 4 inches of water or gets directly blasted with a hose though, they will stay soggy for about 4 hours. Otherwise they're great actually. Shoes are expensive if you're buying in this price range it's for comport not for a long, lasting relationship with some toe containers.

I walk a lot for exercise. When I bought my first pair of these sneakers I was covering between four and five miles some days (broken up over the day) and never less than two miles a day. I'd started walking about a year ago after being too sedentary and packing on 25 pounds during the pandemic. I'm in my 60's but had always been physically fit prior to that so it was a real wakeup call. I started looking for a good walking shoe, the running shoes I wear for daily use didn't stand up well to a lot of miles at once. I just happened to try on a pair of these and they felt good so I gave them a shot. Since them I've worn out one pair walking and immediately bought another pair. They're touted as a "work" sneaker and have a non-slip bottom so they are a bit heavier than some sneakers but that translates to a lot of support and them standing up well to heavy use. They're comfortable and a joy to walk in. Note; I did get a pair a half size larger than I usually wear because they seemed to be sized a bit small. I also usually get wide width sneakers but didn't need to here, possibly because of the 1/2 size bump. They offer great support and offer a solid platform to walk on all terrain; I walk on forested trails, dirt paths, paved streets and sidewalks, they're great for all of them. And it took a lot of miles to wear out my first pair. I Highly recommend them if you're looking for a solid walking sneaker.

Got these because I wanted some non slip shoes for the shop. They were a little too tight in the toes at first but that loosened up after a few days and the fit is nice. I like the look of these shoes and they seem pretty tough. Non slip is reasonably sticky even on oil and coolant. Much better than almost meeting my maker in my old pair. Beware though: there is no arch support. I usually get Saucony or New Balance shoes and haven't ever noticed an issue but these, ouch. I'm on my feet all day and they kill me by the time I'm going home. I didn't even realize the issue until I put my Saucony pair on and holy crap, there's a big lump in the middle... Oh that's just the arch that all shoes are supposed to have, or so I thought. I'm hoping I can find a good insert because I like everything else about the shoes and I hope I don't have to get rid of them just for that.

I work in a Deli. They don't slip at all. And I've had lots of supposed work shoes that are anti-slip that slide all over the place. These are lightweight, which is great.It's four, not making it tired however clean the top off when you get home or they will start to peel if you dont i get a pair every 6 months would last longer I think but I like to keep them fresh

I bought a pair of these about 7 months ago and in no time at all, I was stunningly impressed with just how comfortable they were. I live near my office and frequently walk to / from work & also around the neighborhood. I typically walk 25-40 miles in any given week. After a couple of weeks of break-in, they reached a degree of comfortability that never seemed to diminsh. They fit perfectly, and the shoes felt solid about my feet even if walking on uneven sidewalks, or up/downhill. Notwithstanding that, the soles held up better than any shoe I'd ever owned. In 7 months, I put a minimum of 800 miles of walking in them. The portion of the upper that is made of vinyl eventually began to tear just above the big toe knuckle. But I'd gotten my money's worth, and immediately decided to order another pair. What I received was not the same shoe by any measure. It looked the same, pretty much, although the first giveaway was the tread pattern on the soles. There was a lot more spacing in the tread, and the rubber was far softer. This was not a good sign as it indicated that the sole would wear quickly. Wearing the shoe initially offered the degree of comfort that I was anticipating - BUT - there was a sense that my feet were sloshing around inside the shoe when walking. Further, the sole did not seem to provide a real sense of support. It was almost as if I were wearing a set of flip flops. Only in name/outer appearance would this Fila Workshift Cross-Trainer be the same shoe as the one I raved about so effusively in the first paragraph. I mean, I guess it's fine for trips to mall, or even for a lot of standing. But for me, if the shoe is going to be uncomfortable while walking, and if it is going to wear out under moderate use, then I have no use for it. I returned them. It's a shame. This was once a great shoe!

These are, HANDS DOWN, the absolute best shoes for working all day on your feet. I work in healthcare and I run around like CRAZY all day long; I am plus size and have flat feet, so I had gotten used to my feet killing me after working all day on my feet and had accepted that as the inevitable reality. BUT, these shoes were suggested to me... and, holy cannoli- they have literally changed my life. They are INCREDIBLY comfortable and they are a fairly light shoe for being rather bulky (not in a bad way), they give a ton of support to the bottom of the foot as well as the ankles, they are easy to wipe down/ prevent liquids from getting in my socks, and they hold up extremely well from the wear and tear I give them! I will absolutely be buying these again once this pair is done. Update: these shoes have been worked HARD. I'm 9 months in, and they're still holding up. I am buying a second pair for an outdoor shoe because they're SO comfortable AND they fit my new orthotic insoles!

Great shoes. I use them for work. They are very comfortable to wear. Overall, I am very happy with my purchase.

This pair of shoes came much earlier than I expected. Comfortable and very affordable. I usually find it difficult to get shoes of size 12 in physical stores, but its a breeze online.
