The scooter is sturdy and constructed well. The platform is solid but, because of the "double shock absorption" design, it feels shaky. The design is not as functional as we are led to believe. It diminishes the stability of the scooter, causing the scooter to flex during the ride, mimicking a weak platform. Assembly was simple, a matter of folding the vertical arm into an upright position, and opening the handles into a horizontal position. The height of the handle bar is easily adjusted (vertically) by releasing the tension clamp. The handbrake is very effective, but it does require larger hands and more hand strength than a younger (8 years to 12 years) kid typically has. All braking is applied to the rear wheel only. A cloth basket with a wire frame is included, but it is not constructed with the proper width to fit the handle bar, as designed. It's cheaply made so I just tossed it in the trash. The kick stand is effective, but it should have included some type of protection on the end when parking the scooter inside. I'll cut a piece of rubber hose for the end. The instructions are poorly written/translated in very small print, and overly complicated for this simple assembly. I was conflicted between a three star and a four star rating, but decided to give the seller the benefit of a four star rating for overall good construction and simple assembly.

Bought this scooter to move around campus. So far I'm pleased. It rides smoother than I expected. It's also pretty light, so makes it easy to carry around when I can't ride it.
