Great value for the $115
I hit the jackpot with this purchase, it was a bit of a gamble. I stumbled on an Amazon seller who had this nearly 50% off prevailing price of $200. Although reviews identified sloppy threading on the telescoping body tube, mine arrived with smooth threads and the separate tubes did not wiggle when fully extended (minimal thread engagement). For $115 this was a great value and performer for my basic utility IR needs. The button switch is a tad sloppy in movement but is working well so far. The light did not appear to be a return or used item. All accessories were included.

Disappointed. Must have got a lemon…
This IR Illuminator got great reviews, but it was a BIG disappointment. I could not get anywhere near the advertised range. I tried 3 different batteries, still dim. I got twice the range of 300 yards using a cheap unique fire 1805 model. I sent it back and am still waiting on my refund…

Took a chance on dealing with the wobble issue. Mine came in and did not have a wobble issue. All the way through the range of wide to narrow, the bezel did not wobble. But the light did not work at all. Had to send it back.

Great performance
Wow! Skeptical at first. The two IR illuminators I own that came with the brand scopes are so-so and their ability to illuminate past 100 yd drops off precipitously. However - this Armasight IR Illuminator is good out to several hundred yd. Focus the beam and it goes out further. A pressure switch is included which has more than one intensity. Good stuff. Truth in advertising here.

i purchased this ir illuminator. it worked for about 1 day. the focus is horrible. wobbles all over the place.
