I was pleasantly surprised by how good these SuperYou Protein Wafer Bars taste! They’re super crunchy with a nice chocolate flavor, and it doesn’t feel like you're eating a typical protein bar. The best part is there’s no added sugar, no palm oil, and they’re 100% vegetarian. Each bar has 10g of protein and 3g of fiber, making it a great post-workout snack or a mid-day energy booster. I also love that it uses yeast-fermented protein, which feels lighter on the stomach compared to heavy protein bars. Overall, it’s a healthy, satisfying alternative to sugary snacks—and it actually tastes good. Will definitely be buying again!

These are a yummy and crunchy snack. The light wafer texture makes it easy to eat, and it doesn’t feel heavy. It’s a great on the go energy bar, fully vegetarian and without palm oil. Perfect for a quick, healthy chocolate treat.

The taste is good. The outer chocolate layer was melted a bit. If you can keep them in fridge especially in summer months, I guess it’s a treat for you. It has sugar alcohol which might spike sugar level a bit so might not be for diabetic. Overall, taste is good

Purchased it multiple times and it was growing on me because it was easy on the stomach until I noticed that the wafer is made from maida. That felt like a huge betrayal. What weighs in their favour against a more cleaner protein bar like The Whole Truth Double Cocoa is that Super You got the Diwali sale price point right at Rs 40 per bar. But Whole Truth uses dates for their sweetness unlike polyols by Super You. So when they stop putting maida in their wafer and attempt a natural sweetener, I will get back to them

It feels more like a treat than a typical protein snack. Great for a quick bite or guilt-free dessert. Definitely worth trying if you're a chocolate lover!

The ingredient list is disappointing for something marketed as a protein snack. * Hydrogenated vegetable fats – Source of industrial/trans fats if not fully refined; these are linked to increased cardiovascular risk and should be minimized. * Refined wheat flour (maida) – Highly processed flour with a high glycemic impact and very little fiber. * Maltitol (artificial sweetener) – Can cause bloating, gas, and digestive discomfort, especially in moderate to large amounts. * Artificial flavouring (ethyl vanillin, cheese flavour) – Adds taste without nutritional value; many people prefer products without artificial additives. * Starch + milk solids + cheese powder – Indicates a significant amount of fillers and processed ingredients rather than whole-food protein sources. * Refined oils – Uses processed fats instead of healthier fats like nuts or seeds. * Emulsifier (INS 322) – Commonly lecithin and generally considered safe, but another sign of an ultra-processed product. * Salt – Another processed ingredient; frequent intake of high-sodium snacks isn’t ideal. Bottom line: Despite the protein content, this is still an ultra-processed snack made with refined flour, processed fats, sweeteners, and artificial flavours. I’d rather get my protein from foods with simpler, whole-food ingredients.

These bars are surprisingly good! The wafer crunch makes them different from regular protein bars, and the chocolate-peanut combo tastes natural, not overly sweet. The fact that it’s 100% vegetarian and made with yeast-fermented protein gives extra confidence in quality.
