Smaller than expected, but still a great size! Can be used for multiple purposes like carrying around 10ish iced beverages for a bbq or planting a few plants for your windowsill. Very lightweight but just enough weight to be sturdy, my family uses it for feeding water in our chicken coop, occasionally a duck will take a dunk in it as well! Speaking of duck, to be able to visualize the size better, one full grown duck can fit splashing in there but no more! Definitely cute and would recommend!

I was looking for a suitable "duck" pond for a children's carnival game. I wanted something higher off the ground than the typical wading pool. This suited my criteria nicely -- right size, right height, and a fair price. This tub did not leak, even filled to within a half-inch of the brim. I found it to be fairly sturdy, not too heavy, not too light -- it is essentially a galvanized steel bucket after all. I had no issues with packaging. It was shipped in a box of appropriate size, and the tub was surrounded by and also filled with that brown packaging kraft paper. To be fair, this was shipped from a warehouse essentially local to me via two-day Prime, so there wasn't much time for the delivery company to mangle it. If one was having this shipped from further away over a longer period of time, I can see where there could be cause for worry. The tub is strong from top to bottom, but long sides of the oval would be vulnerable to getting squashed if a heavier parcel were to fall or be dropped on that side of the tub.

This tub has everything going for it. Sturdy, nostalgic appeal in it's appearance, great price, and a veritable cornucopia of uses. I purchased this Behrens 4 Gallon Oval Steel Tub to hold my Border Collie's toy collection. Much better than those toys scattered everywhere, lurking on the floor, lying in wait to be stepped on by my tender feet and cause the dance of pain, accompanied by curse words I didn't even know I knew. So this organized his toys and looks great doing it. I know I will be purchasing more of these Behrens buckets and pails in the future. There are a myriad of uses these can be utilized for. I'm thinking a set of three flower pots would look great on my porch next summer in this appealing Behren's Oval Tub. I am currently training Gibson Coal Porter, a very stubborn Border Collie. to pick up his toys like a good boy and return them to the Behren's Tub. So far, he is doing a great job of playing helpless and watching me put them all back. So his training me is progressing nicely.

My St. Berdoodle is the splashing queen. She loves washing her feet in the water dish after digging dirt holes in the backyard. No one appreciates the dirty feet water, especially not me who has to clean up the kitchen flood everytime she starts splashing. This tub is perfect for her feet cleaning and splashing. I tried pools before but she punctured them quickly chewing on them and jumping around. The 16 gallon is pretty good for being able to play in the water but not excessively waste it. I can dump it when it gets dirty and fill it back up in a few minutes.

These tubs worked out perfectly for my container garden vision. They arrived quickly and in perfect condition. I purchased the 15-16 gallon oval size. Very satisfied with my purchase and with this seller.

I bought this tub to soak bare root roses overnight! It was the perfect size, sturdy, and waterproof! I think it will be perfect for an herb garden, too!

Bought one to try with the pigs. Held water great. Bought a second one for their food. Very happy with both. They will outgrow them soon but I'm sure I can find other uses for them.

Very sturdy construction. I have several for my cats as litter pans. This size is big enough for a long cat-and-a-half cat, a picky fat cat and a giant poof of a cat. Deep enough for a few inches of litter so everyone is polite enough to bury their business with out making a mess.
