I was very impressed by this composter. Not only does it have a clean sleek look, and it works better than I expected. I previously brought a big composter bin that you attached to the ground, and I placed it all the way back of the backyard. As winter come, I'm too lazy to take my compost to the backyard since it so cold outside, and then I came across this electric composter bin. It fits perfectly on my kitchen countertop, and it looks simple and clean. What I like about this composter bin is that its odorless and it can get composted overnight, and more importantly there are no more fruit flies in the house. I use this composter at least twice a week. Once it composted, I apply it to my indoor plants. What I also like is the self-clean function that this composter bin has. After I removed the compost, I pour 800ml water as it suggested into the bin and hit the clean button. After 15 minutes, I pour the water out to a container then I let it cool down and then I can use it to water the plants. Overall, this composter bin it's easy to use and I definitely recommend it to anyone who wants to start on composting in the winter.

I have had this for about a month now. I have been running it every other day or so with orange and banana peels, strawberry tops, some brown paper, dead leaves from my plants, etc. I have tried to vary whats it in in any given batch. The first 3 weeks it worked great. Breaks stuff up, dries it out well. At week 4 I keep getting the E02 error which says its overheating. The fix is turn it off and let it cool down. I have done that, made sure the stuff in there wasnt getting stuck, the blades can move freely, etc. I start it up and 30-45 minutes later it shuts down with the same error. I have dumped out the stuff that was in there and put in new stuff. Same thing. I have not successfully run a full cycle this week. I dont over stuff the thing and it breaks the stuff down but doesnt dry it out at all. I reached out to the company who said put less stuff in there. There was actually very little in the bucket and it was still overheating. I returned this composter just in time. The refund was quick.

i been using this for few weeks now. it’s small so it fits nicely on my counter, which is nice because my kitchen not so big. it also doesn’t make smell – there’s a filter inside. but sometimes I wonder if the carbon filter needs to change too often?prosdoesn’t smell, so no problem leaving it in the kitcheneasy to start composting, just push the buttonbut cleaning takes little time even with auto-clean feature. i expected less manual effort. its sound is quiet like they said, almost don’t notice it, so can use anytime.i like how it turns waste into something useful (dry fertilizer). in my country, we care about waste a lot now. feels like doing small help for environment. some buttons took few tries to figure out, but mostly okay now.

Can I give 4.5 stars? Well since I can't I'll explain the 4. Knew from the description it was a small capacity unit didn't expect it to be tiny! The unit does work quite well but it is a little noisy. Every so often it clicks and clunks, now not sure if that is normal but. As far as use, it could not be simpler. Fill the bucket place bucket into base close lid push button and walk away, just walk away! The best thing, no smell! Now to see how happy this make my plants. After having this for just over a month, as luck would have it 2 days after the return window closed the unit stopped working. Even when cutting everything into "bite sized" pieces the blades would jam and the unit would bang. Reached out to Amazon customer service and surprisingly they were willing to send a replacement. Hopefully this replacement unit will last.

This is amazing! I set my scraps into this bin, and I turned the standard process on the next day, took 6 hours total to process, and the food scraps just turned to the fertilizer!!!So cool, the machine just got heated up, and for sure I don’t know how it did the work, but the result was awesome!The machine was super quiet too! So I wouldn’t even notice it when it was running.The sealing ring can be taken it down to wash, which is nice. I actually don’t need to run the “clean” function, I just put some soap and water, shake it for a bit and easy to clean the bin.The machine came with the charcoal, really sweet.I like this machine, so cool and convenient!

While this machine won't make completed compost, it makes a great mix to add to my tumbler composter. I can add all the messy leftovers from our dinner plates, and it ends up this great compostlike mixture with no odor. This will be especially nice in the winter when weather is too cold and messy to go out to my regular composter. I will save up the completed “compost” to add to the tumbler in the spring.
