Not very solid, and the mount sags so taking photos from above requires you to buy a ball attachment
The arm is not sturdy, so it will only support maybe 500g, so larger or older DSLR camera won't be supported well. Also, the mount sags, meaning a DSLR camera facing downwards to take photos from above will be at an angle, and there's no way to straighten it, other than buying a ball mount, which costs extra.

Was going to not get this as the reviews weren’t too good but glad I did as it such a versatile arm

Sturdy mount arm
Good mount arm. I was expecting it to be flimsy but it’s nice and robust and I can hang an x-t30 with an 18-55mm lens without a problem at full length. Extra weight at the base of the tripod is recommended so it doesn’t tip over

Nice and versatile, holds camera well
I bought one of these to attach to my light pole to have a camera attached for future filming. It’s doing a good job so far, the grip is nice and sturdy and it holds my camera a lens well (about 700g in total)! If you have a heavy full frame camera and lens, I don’t think it would be too wise to use this mount arm as I don’t think this is meant for heavy equipment. It’s good for relatively light cameras or small lights, it does the job well and it’s a long arm with good adjustability. The price isn’t too bad at all and I think it will last a long time hopefully!
