Smooth, Consistent Wax for Reliable Ring Carving
This is a solid set of ring wax tubes, especially for those working on classic designs like signet rings or smoother, rounded styles. The set includes six different sizes (T100–T1062E), providing a good range for various ring designs and finger sizes. The 1.5 cm inner diameter is consistent across all tubes and fits most standard mandrels without issue.I’ve already started carving a signet ring and have been pleased with the quality so far. The wax has a smooth, even surface and, importantly, I haven’t encountered any blowholes or internal bubbles—something that can be a real issue with lower-grade wax. This wax carves well by hand and responds cleanly to engraving tools and rotary equipment. One important note: this blue wax is intentionally softer than green or purple carving wax. That makes it excellent for achieving rounded or domed surfaces, but it may not be the best choice for highly detailed or intricate designs. For work requiring crisp, sharp lines, a harder wax like the green wax might be better suited.Overall, this is a dependable and well-made product that performs as expected. Whether you’re a beginner learning the lost wax process or an experienced jeweler doing production work, this wax is a practical addition to your bench.✅ Highly recommend!

Wax for making rings designs
I haven't actually had a chance to use this wax yet. But I got it for carving ring shapes that I can make molds of out of silicone to cast jewelry with. I can say that you get a decent amount and it's the right shape for making rings. After I use it I will have to come back at a later date and update my review.

Good Blue Wax ring carving tube set
These are blue wax tubes used by jewelers to craft different style rings. The tube are made of blue wax, which is softer and a lower melting point than other wax types, such as green wax. These tubes are meant to be cut into multiple rings and then shaped and carved by hand. You really don’t want to use a CNC or high speed cutter on these, as blue wax is softer and will melt and deform easier than other wax types. This wax tubes can be used to make different ring types, such as a wedding ring, large man’s ring, or a simple band ring. Using these tubes and cutting them is significantly faster than attempting to shape just one ring from a solid block of wax.The wax appears to be of good quality and I can’t wait to see how the final casting turns out.

great value wax kit
This wax is good quality and I haven't noticed anything out of the ordinary with it. Seems to carve and melt normal, but I am somewhat of a novice. It's a good deal for how many different shapes and sizes you get. I will not need to buy more ring wax for a very long time.

Good for learning and practice
I’m new to wax carving but have been wanting to make some stamping seals or Maker’s mark stamps and figured wax would be a great material to start with due to it’s soft and forgiving nature. So far this wax seems to be perfect for practice carving before I move on to harder materials as I don’t have the equipment for casting. It does seem to be a bit soft for using power rotary tools but if one takes their time and doesn’t stay in one spot or area for too long there is little risk in having a meltdown. Also using coarser tool bits will remove more material w/o overheating it but does carry the risk of tear-outs or chipping. Hand carving or graving tools do seem to work a bit better with less risk or chipping or catastrophic failure. So far I’m happy with this wax.

Good quality wax for carving, okay for iron.
This blue wax worked well. It sawed predictably and it was easy to join with a soldering iron. It melted as expected and didn't oxidize with the metal. The wax got sticky but not super viscous like some waxes will get when using a soldering iron.

DON'T DO IT
You may think you are saving money but this product files and carves more like plastic than wax. Air bubbles are throughout the material and scratches do not buff out of the finished piece. Buy the Matt, it'll be cheaper in the long run.

Great quality carving wax—even survived the summer heat
This blue jeweler’s carving wax is smooth, dense, and exactly what I needed for ring carving and wax casting. The blocks are solid with no flaws, and there's more than enough to make several rings or small projects. It shipped during a heatwave and still arrived in perfect condition—no warping or softening at all.Ideal for anyone doing hand carving for lost-wax casting. Great material to work with—tough enough to hold detail, but still carves cleanly. I’ll definitely keep this in rotation for future projects.
