Organic Liquorice Root Powder 250g

Liquorice root is a powerful anti-viral and supportive to the liver. This is a very nice way to buy it, l make tea with this powder, its very sweet, and I like it. However, do remember to take for 2 week periods only, then take a break for 2 weeks, because too much of it can damage the liver, same with goldenseal.

I take 1 teaspoon per mug of boiling water. I like it's sweet flavour and it really helps to clear my airways. As soon as I feel something going on in my throat or lungs, I drink it and problems disappear, at least for me. I had a few different types of liquorice: slices, coarse powder and fine powder, and I find this one (the fine one) to be the most effective for my health.

I preferred this liquorice powder to the raw roots for making drinks and confections. Taste sweet and smell good

I bought this as I had seen several reviews for the health benefits of licorice. I love licorice sweets but they are always very high in sugar, so thought I'd try this. They suggest using it in drinks etc however the smell is awful when put in a warm liquid, so you have to hold your nose to drink it - taste not pleasant but am able to drink it. Have nothing to compare it with so don't know if this is normal for powdered root. So disappointed as I love licorice taste and smell of sweets and thought there would be a licorice flavour. Won't be ordering again, even if it is healthy it is so unpleasant to take.

Well packaged in a sturdy foil zip lock bag. Sweet flavoured powder, not unpleasant. I mix with almond milk in a shaker. Not taken long enough to see if any benefits but definitely no ill effects. Hoping for some transformation :)
