The reload is pretty hard because you have to pull back pretty hard to reload, overall a great toy and very good quality, i recommend this product and would think it is a great item for 8 year olds or over, its a very good toy and it looks nice and it reloads very nicely and well, this product is very good and cheap but the cartridges jam pretty much some of the time, but its functionality is very well working and almost barely jams when using!

My son LOVES this gun. It actually shoots the little bullets, which he thinks is awesome. Its held up really well so far in a house full of boys! Would definitely purchase again.

The shell casings were not included in the box. You are not able to shoot the foam dart without the shell casing. My child was very disappointed. I reordered a replacement with hopes the shell casings will be included with the replacement.

This was a okay buy. I like that it is able to shoot and cock it, but sometimes it gets jammed and is hard to get it unjammed. For the price and overall material I give it 4 stars. It's play quality is nice and will keep your kids distracted!

Bought this for my nephew and he loves it! It works like a real gun. Hes had it for a few months now and it has held up very well. It jams now and again, but it's easy to get the bullet right out. Great for target practice and an unbeatable price.

I bought this for my 6 year old and he was BEYOND happy with this item. It is somewhat a pain to re-load the shells with the ammo but the life-like way it ejects the shells is super cool and worth it. Def would buy this one again.
