Best washing machine cleaner you can get
I’ve been using the Calgon 4-in-1 Washing Machine Cleaner Tablets mainly to help keep on top of limescale and general build-up. They’re easy enough to use – just pop one in and run a cycle – so there’s no extra hassle. Over time, I’ve noticed the machine smells fresher, and it seems to run a bit smoother, which is a nice bonus. It’s meant to protect parts like the drum and heating element, and while you don’t see that directly, it does give a bit of peace of mind that you’re helping the machine last longer. At £5 for 15 tablets, it feels reasonably priced, especially compared to potential repair costs down the line. Overall, it’s a simple, no-fuss way to keep the washing machine cleaner and working well without much effort.

Solved the problem!
These are excellent! My washing machine smelled awful, tried other cleaners and it was fresh for about a day at the most. They seemed to just freshen rather than actually clean. These don’t really leave a scent behind, but the bad smell has gone completely!! Washing is coming out cleaner and fresher too. I don’t use one in every wash. I used two in the first load to clean it, then pop one in every now and then as I do a LOT of washing. Will definitely keep buying these

Don’t dissolve properly
Great idea but they leave a lot of residue in the conditioner tray in the washing machine. I had to clean the tray this morning as it was blocked. Will try the liquid next time
