This is good toy for speech therapy

We got this after having used it at speech therapy. It has so many uses. You can match, pick out items one by one and say what they are. You can out them back so can practice bye bye or in when returning the items. I have two toddlers 10 months apart so this is also great for turn taking. Honestly a great buy and something I would suggest to anyone. The cards are sturdy. Honestly get it. You will not regret it.

I was so pleased to see the delighted looks of excitement on my just 2yr old Gdtr’s and 3.5 yr old Grandson’s faces when they unwrapped and opened up this JoyCat Sorting Box! Each category of plastic items came in individual soft opaque bags of good quality that should last if not treated roughly by a young child! The cards with the pictures of the corresponding objects in the separate groupings are sturdy and will last under the same circumstances. The top of the box has an circular opening of about 8-9” that is covered with a thick, sturdy piece of felt with a sliced out center + big enough to fit a small adult hand through. The felt is glued from the inside of the box opening and after several sessions of exuberant, excited dipping in and out for items inside of the box, the felt started to loosen at the glued down edges! I was able to tape down those spots with super sticky heavy duty black gorilla tape inside and on top. I also made the center cut + slits longer to make the in, out and search motion put less stress on the outer edges. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND that these slits be cut longer before using. I can’t see it making any difference to the surprise mystery aspect of searching for objects. The top of the box now looks pretty tacky and I doubt it will last so I reduced this product by 1 star for this issue. I haven’t had time to look into another way to remedy the situation yet but I’ll likely come up with one if necessary.My grandson has Cerebral Palsy, loves any kind of education game and so far this has held his interest. Now, as far as my Gdtr is concerned, her preference is to take the objects away from the spot we are using the box at! Keeping things together, consistently having the kids help with “cleaning up” their toys isn’t done by the adults who are with them daily. They have toys that are shared and they each have things that are their own but those often become shared to avoid meltdowns. The little one often hides things to avoid sharing lol so some of the objects are already missing!! But there is an abundance of them and when time allows to use this just with my Gson, it works out well and it’s sooo much fun to watch him searching to match up some of the more intricately details objects.Overall I would likely pay this price for this item. The quality makes it a good value for the money spent👍🏻

Absolutely loved this toy. It is perfect to use with my patients in speech therapy. The pictures are vibrant and toys good quality
