Resizable Stainless drop-lid for simmering (Japan Import)

I thought it was a brilliant product that fits a wide range of pots. Very well made and durable.

Not bad, does what it was meant for

This lid is brilliantly simple and really well designed. I spent ages playing with it just because I was so impressed with the way it expanded and how well made it was. (This isn't like those expandable metal steamer baskets you see in stores – it's much more substantial.) It's heavy enough to keep food submerged, easy to clean, and can even double as a steamer. I'd been making drop lids out of cooking foil, which were awkward to keep weighted down, but I didn't want to add to the clutter in my kitchen cupboards by buying individual fixed-size otoshibuta for all my pans. So having a single lid that fits everything and also has other uses is ideal. It folds down to the size of a large beer mat and just slips into a kitchen drawer. Perfect.

I have been looking for a drop lid for my Japanese pans and I have not been disappointed. Excellent quality, easy to use and fits a variety of pans beautifully. Good value for money and came quicker than expected. Will purchase again if I need any more.

Not used on all pan sizes yet but seems to do the job

I wanted a drop lid for some dishes and it needs to be able to fit several pan sizes. This is just right

Came from Japan, I've got it on time, easy to use and wash, multi functional, you can steam dumplings, or use as a lid for prepare rafute, or okinawa soba topping. I love it!
