The Furry Little Menaces Have Been Thwarted
We are owned by 2 cats whom we adore, however, they are cats and they do cat things like scratch furniture. The corner of our love seat was destroyed by prior cats and these 2 have managed to destroy the corner of a fabric storage ottoman. These cats have a huge cat tree, a 4-foot-tall scratching post, window beds, 2 humans that play with them, and more toys than most toddlers, but they still get bored on occasion. The furry little miscreants decided to start attacking one corner of the storage ottoman in our bedroom. Bad enough I need to replace one ottoman. I really don't want to replace 2, so I figured I'd give these a shot. It actually worked!! The cats are leaving the ottoman alone! Here's what's in the box:Several clear sheets in different sizes and they're also thin enough where they can be cut easily.A little plastic spatulaLittle upholstery screwsNO DIRECTIONSInstall is pretty easy, but here are some things to consider. The sheets come rolled in a tube. You may wish to unroll the sheets and then lay them flat. During installation, I found that the plastic sheet would curl in on itself which could be a little annoying. The sheets have adhesive which sticks to the fabric, but it's similar to the adhesive on sticky notes in that it wears out quickly. I suggest that you dry fit the sheet where you want it and then make adjustments before peeling the backing off.For myself, I find it's easier to work from left to right. Once you've figured out the placement, peel off the backing in the upper left corner and then attach the corner of the sheet to the furniture using one of the upholstery screws. It will serve as an anchor so that you can position the sheet a little easier.Slowly peel away the backing to expose the bottom left corner, then use the little plastic spatula to smooth the plastic and help it stick to the furniture. Fasten the bottom left corner with an upholstery screw.Continue to slowly peel the backing from left to right smoothing the sheet with spatula as you go. Depending on the width of the area, you may want to put additional upholstery screws as you work, but at the very least, you will need 1 screw in each corner for the protector sheet to stay in place.

Protection
4/5 stars for me. Protects my couch from my cats and is barely noticeable. Only con is that it does not stick very well so you’ll have to use the pins provided.

Love the twist pins
The sticky vinyl works great, and I covered half a couch with it (because my cat think it's her personal gym/scratching post), but I used the twist pins to hold on the couch cover that will not stay in place despite having rubbery backing. They work great! I haven't had to put my couch back together for over a day now. The vinyl is sticky enough that I'm not sure why the pins would even be necessary for that, but I'm glad it came with the pins. It's nice and thick and pretty easy to roll on without too much trouble. Just peel off a little paper at a time, and it isn't too hard to keep it from rippling and bubbling.

Not Good!!!
These are not good!! Very poor adhesion!! I cleaned my leather couch thoroughly before applying them and they started lifting off within the hour..

sxing is perfect
I loved that these came in sections instead of a full roll. It felt a bit easier to do the big sections instead of rolling it around the couch and then cutting it or using a tape measure. I did not like the fact that it would not stay without the pushpins. I am still on the hunt for some I don't have to use the push pins eventually.

Saving my furniture!
Works as expected, but most certainly use the push pins!
