I have been looking for a way to watch tv at a volume level comfy for me without blowing others out of the house, and this is IT!! I'm able to connect my bluetooth headset and control the volume independant of the tv volume. I actually have the tv connected to a Vizio sound bar and this does not interfere with that volume. the boon to this is when my grandson is playing his games and talking loudly on his phone, my wife can connect my other headphones and watch tv without yelling at the kid to turn stuff down. now, everyone's happy!!!!

My VIZIO smart tv doesn't have Bluetooth built into it, so i got this crazy idea to figure out how to get bluetooth, so I came across this nifty invention, and since it wasn't purchased, bought, or found from Best Buy (the Masters of Technology, I'm sorry not sorry haha) I was worried that this was a fake trap and wouldn't work. Needless to say, when the shipment arrived in fast timing and arrival, I was wrong and I was so happy. I live the latency, connectivity, Bluetooth connectivity, works well, easy to use/ease of use, the volume control knobs and features, touch screen, just the whole cute adorable thing, qnd I'm do happy now, because my VIZIO tv now have Bluetooth when I turn this on, and I can connect to my Skullcandy Hesh EVO, Bluetooth headphones. My Optimum tv Google box, my streaming apps (Netflix, and etc) all have Bluetooth through my headphones pairing to this cool invention. My only complaint is that I have to mute the tv so that it doesn't echoes through both tv and my headphones, but that's ok, I don't mind. I'm just happy that I have Bluetooth working now, because my tv doesn't have it built-in. And my next complaint I that when my DVD player is on playing a DVD, the headphones only plays in one speaker of my headphones only. But, that's ok too.

It works well and easy to use. I like the product but I wish I had chosen a product with a remote. You must pair your headphones every time you use them by pressing the connect button on the box. It has no memory or anuto pairing and that gets annoying. I use it in my bedroom at night and to turn the box off you must physically get out of bed and turn it off, not that I'm that lazy but I really wish It had a remote.

Nice, came in handy with the ability to be used as a receiver and a transmitter. I originally bought it for the receiver transmitter option. But with my 300$ soundbar always out of sync no matter the tv i use or with this pusing the signal i opted to try and use it connected to my soundbar and receiving the signal from the TV, and now NO sync issues. great purchase

I’ve been using the SOOMFON Bluetooth Transmitter/Receiver for about 5 months now, and unfortunately, it hasn’t been smooth sailing. The biggest issue is reliability—when I turn it on, it doesn’t always work right away. It often connects to my Bluetooth headphones, but there’s no audio. That means I end up turning it off and on several times, wasting 15–20 minutes before workouts just trying to get sound.Another limitation is that it only supports stereo signals. Some TV apps default to 5.1 audio, which means I’ll only hear sound in one side of my headphones unless I go into the app settings and switch everything to stereo. Then when it’s movie night and I want my sound system back, I have to change it all over again. It gets annoying fast. And I’ve tried it with aux cable and optical cable and the experience is the same.When it does work properly, the sound quality is decent, and it gets the job done. But because it’s hit or miss, I can’t always rely on it. If you don’t mind extra fiddling, it might be okay, but for me it’s been frustrating sometimes. So I’ll leave it up to your judgement.

Once you can see the instructions (very small print, light grey on white) (old people) and understand what they mean, this thing works like a charm! It works well with BT headsets and not at all with BT hearing aids. It is well worth the attractive price. It COULD use a little more volume reserve but with the TV and headset volumes all the way up it is entirely better than any speakers. The TV could be the limiting factor with RCA connectors.

This was easy to setup and bought a 2nd one for my lanai! Once its paired to my bluetooth speaker - it automatically connects once I turn the TV on. I love it! I also recommended it to a family member and they love it!

Just got/ installed this device. At first all the cords included was a bit daunting ( to this 77 year old still getting acquainted with modern electronics). But the fact of the matter is that all it took to hook it up to my non smart TV was plugging in the power cord, just like a phone charger and voila the control box came on. Then plug up the one, only, " audio out" L and R and follow simple " pairing" directions and it's done. Works great and I really like that my TV sound can also be left on,or not, while using the headphones. I would give it 5 stars but haven't used it long enough yet. I definitely recommend it, especially for the price.
