Versatile and reliable.
This is an excellent product. It is large, looks good on a serving table, and with 09 settings, it is very versatile.I have made meals for myself and used it to prepare food for a buffet. It heats up enough to sear meat, cools down enough to simmer onions, and keeps soup hot.Although it is more expensive than other slow cookers, I am past looking for the least expensive product. I want performance and reliability. The insert is extremely easy to clean. The GreenPan gives me both.

Works well, super easy to clean
We got one of these to replace an instant pot that, while more versatile, didn’t work very well as just a slow cooker. While the Instant Pot could also function as a pressure cooker, its low heat setting wasn’t adequate for getting good results as a slow cooker. This one is just a dedicated slow cooker that has worked great for things like soups, stews, chilis, etc. And it has a higher heat function available to braise the meat or vegetables in the same pot before adding the stock and the rest of the ingredients. This is super convenient and makes it much more of a one-pot solution than some of the cheaper options. It has some lengthy timed heat options, is simple and easy to use, looks and feels great with high perceived quality, and everything has come out really well in it so far.And as you’d expect from Greenpan, the highlight of this product is the ceramic crock pot itself. It’s removable for super easy cleaning, and it acts as non stick as any Teflon coating. I think it may be dishwasher safe, though we hand wash this, since it’s so easy and quick to do so. I don’t know if you can get just the crock replaced if it’s broken or worn, so it would be wise to be gentle with it to ensure a long usable life.Overall, this thing is big and heavy, but it’s been great. Worth the extra dough over the cheap budget ones, IMHO. AAA+++

Smart me. I bought one.
I hesitated to purchase this because of the cost, and the fact that I had a perfectly good crock pot already. But I wanted to upgrade to something potentially healthier to use long term, and with more flexibility. When it arrived I initially didn’t like the complexity of what here to fore had been just on and off. But wow, what a difference, and not as complicated as I feared. Even I could do this. It is heavier than my old slow cooker, but manageable even when putting away on the bottom shelf and then taking it out again. So, ya…a great purchase and maybe one of my best all time upgrades. I am hooked in the idea of one pot meals that simmer all day.

They Can't Make It Any Better.
This product deserves the 5 stars. It's just a joy to work with especially compared to others. The outside barely gets warm. I love all the different settings. Even though it has a "Sear" setting, I've decided NOT to use it. The more I read about ceramic, or any nonstick surface, the more I'm convinced that high temperatures age them prematurely.I'll use the "Sear" setting to start out some stock in there. That gets things going and I don't think it's as tough on the surface as an oil-Sear would.Half a chicken fits great. For that matter, so does a whole one. Easy clean up, easy intuitive controls. I used it all Winter long. Highly recommended.

Shouldn’t have waited so long!
I reach for this quite often. Every function works like it’s supposed to. The temperature settings seem pretty accurate ( have checked with thermometer a few times). The sear function goes to 450 degrees and heats up fast. For slow cooking-set it and go do other things- No worries-. It costs more than most others but works the way it’s supposed to.

Best Slow Cooker
This crockpot does it all! From low to hi slow cook, roast, simmer, keep warm, steam, reheat. Love being able to sear/brown in the same pan. Light weight and super easy to clean verses a crock style. Easy to adjust between programs, time and temperature. Safe materials. Everything has turned out delicious! High praises to this piece of cookware.

I love it. Easy to use. I love that is can sear the meat in the same pot.
User
Never again
I purchased this expensive appliance with the hopes it would be a top of the line appliance. Didn’t take long and the labels on the button all washed off. Then liquid splashed from the liner down into the bottom and it won’t work. Keeps kicking a code. Lesson learned. Big waste of money

Beautiful and gets the job done!
Expensive but for me it’s worth it. Works well. Very happy with the clean look.
