I've had this in my home for a long time. Good for mystery rashes, bug bites, sores. And this week, I discovered a new use for it - to spread on my shingles. I cannot say this kept me from getting blisters but I would look at my rash and see little white dots like blisters in the making. I'd put this Goldenseal on the rash and the little white dots went away.It seems like a very tiny jar but a little goes a long way. I intend to always have this in my home.

Very effective for healing/protecting skin. Not for open wounds. Excellent facial moisturizer in the winter, especially.
