I originally bought this product on the recommendation of my doctor who said I needed to take a regular vitamin D supplement. I found that this particular product was easy to use and tasted just fine. A little oily but that was the carrier oil used to transport the vitamin itself. I definitely noticed a change in how I felt after a couple of weeks of taking it. I’d recommend this to anyone who needs to bolster their Vitamin D levels.

Does it's job

This vitamin D3 supplement comes in a dark brown plastic bottle with a separate syringe/dropper (without needle) designed to administer the correct daily dosage of 0.5 ml for an adult… a tiny amount ! It has to be stored in a cool dark place otherwise the D3 is liable to deteriorate. There are a couple of quibbles here… I would have preferred a glass bottle, which could be recycled rather than a plastic bottle. I also prefer liquid vitamin supplements which have the syringe incorporated in the top of the bottle, rather than, as here, a separate syringe which is liable to get dirty, mislaid, and cannot be maintained hygienically very easily, at least without some care and attention. Good features are that it is free from most common allergens, as well as being free from additives, such as alcohol, sugar, gluten, etc. There is a long comprehensive list of “free from” in the description and the manufacturer is to be congratulated in making the supplement as pure and safe as possible. The orange flavour is quite mild and not too noticeable. I quite like it. The sunflower seed base in which the vitamin D3 is carried is a good choice and doesn’t taste too strong. It is easy to add it to food when taking the supplement. It is a pity the sunflower oil is not organic. You may wonder what the alpha-togopherol is and what it is doing in a D3 supplement? Well, it is vitamin A which acts as an anti-oxidant. In my opinion it is safe and good to have it in the supplement, and is better than any unnecessary preservatives which are sometimes added. Overall… a good type of vitamin D3 supplement to take. Liquid form is much better than the powder and tablet forms. High quality.
