Very useful
Easy to use. It hasn't taken all the pain away but has reduced it significantly. I can go an entire day without pain killers which is really good, as I used to take a fait good amount of pain killers.Battery lasts for up to 8 hours on high use.Only down side is you need to check the battery prior to using it as it loses battery even when not in use.Over all I am very happy with the purchase.

Avoid this awful product - it’s a complete lie.
I would urge anyone who suffers with horrific period pain, to avoid this product like the plague. It is a complete scam. I have chronic period pain, completely debilitating. This device does nothing, in fact sometimes it seems to make it worse and it’s actually better if I take it off. If you buy through Amazon, you don’t get the guarantee thing they mention on their own website so you can’t return it if it doesn’t work for you. I have had many TENS machines which has worked wonders, but this literally does nothing. This is a cheap little device which has been given a modern look and some excellent marketing, this company is preying on women who are desperate and in need of pain relief. Please don’t be fooled, save your money and go to a proper medical company for a decent TENS machine with different modes. I wasted my money on this one and then couldn’t afford to buy a proper one for months - just don’t do it!

It works but it broke quickly
Brought this for my partner and she said that it worked really well and does what it claims, the product looks nice and comes with a nice small case for keeping it in your hand bag. Unfortunately within the first 2days of use the connection came loose and would need to be pushed slightly to one side to get it to work correctly (this seems to be a common issue from reading other reviews) after 3 days one of the pads completely stopped working. We have had to return the item, hopefully a newer version with a more robust connection and wires will be made in the future.

Good product, poor aftercare if issues arise
The device itself was good and worked well for the pain... however, i had an issue with one of the flowerpad electrodes not working and so contacted livia for a replacement part (as the device itself worked it seemed senseless changing the whole item) it took over a month and a lot of chasing for the replacement part to come (by which point the amazon returns policy had of course expired) additionally there was a £12 import fee for this replacement. As the issue was their fault it seemed unfair for me to have to pay for this.

Its a rip-off
I purchased this item for my daughter who has used it since November for her period pain. The leads to the electrodes have frayed after 2 months and when contacted, the company would not replace them under warranty because it was purchased through AMAZONDO NOT PURCHASE THIS ITEM THROUGH AMAZON AS THERE IS NO WARRANTY

Livia is just a TENS unit!
Honestly, Livia works wonders for your period pains, but that's not because it's Livia, it's because it's a TENS unit. Livia has constantly avoided calling itself a TENS unit which has lead to a lot of people thinking there's something special about its technology that helps relieve period pains however it's just not true.1) TENS units are really quite cheap - here you're paying a tonne for the packaging & appearance (shame I had to pay so much only to realise after) but I suggest you don't waste so much money on a pretty item.2) It's not well built! - the electrodes stopped working after my 4th period with it. The wires had snapped or disconnected from inside somehow and simply would not work. TENS units online are much more well built and the wiring doesn't fray as quick.3) You'll be paying a silly amount for extra gel pads - the gel pads used with Livia are in a pretty little flower design, why? I don't know because it's not very practical. The edges will constantly peel off so you're not getting much use from a one gel pad set and if you choose to reorder, well then just pray your period doesn't start in the meantime cause you'll be waiting a while for it to ship. The Livia does work. If you've had devastating horrid periods then you'll find tonnes of relief with it, but you'll find the same thing with any TENS unit, it's just a shame that they asking you to pay so much for something that is actually very easily accessible elsewhere. The only positive about Livia? It's compact. That's it.
