Great product - good quality
Great product. Well made and easy to install. Good value for money. Works well. Mounting the switch was a little wonky, but it works.

String pulling power, very durable!
As far as the winch goes itself it is amazing very strong and fast response time with the remote and the provided push button control. Nothing to do with the winch I installed it on a newer Hisun utv and was hoping it was plug and play or more so (line up with the factory holes from my other winch that came with the machine however it did not so my install took me about half a day to do because I had to drill a bunch of new holes and try and get it mounted up but it eventually worked out great like I said nothing to do with the winch itself just throwing it out the ere in case you are getting it for you’re utv you may have to do some customizing!

Great Winch! (Includes wireless remote)
Great winch, it worked like a champ! I had no issues at all setting it up. The which includes a handle bar control AND a wireless remote control so you can stand clear of the rope while winching ( a very smart thing to do!)

Great Unit. Confident purchase.
Very well made, robust unit. Good instructions, all the necessary parts and wiring included. Very happy with this.

Decent Winch
Seems like a decent enough unit for the price. Deducted a star due to the extremely short battery cables that don't reach the battery and the winch cables that limit the contactor placement to under the hood. The box was missing the mounting plate bolts as well as several washers. Appears to work as it should, have not actually used it yet.

Errant remote winch control ruined my OPENROAD winch and new front bumper like an unstoppable T-1000
Hello all, Beware the wireless remote control... On March 18th, 2026, I ordered an OPENROAD 12000 lbs Panther 3S winch, and it was received on March 20th 2026. I installed it on March 23rd, 2026. Upon completion of the install, I activated one of the wireless remotes and proceeded to winch in the winch line to snug the winch hook up against the Fairlead. The remote immediately got stuck in the “winch IN” mode. Nothing I could do would stop the winch from pulling the winch line IN and crushing the Fairlead and damaging my new bumper. I tried the “off” button, the “out” button and the “signal” button repeatedly to no avail. As stated before, the winch line eventually crushed the fairlead and ruined my newly installed Stubby bumper. I finally stopped the "winch in" process by rendering the errant remote powerless with a hammer. Thank God there were no fingers involved. I am now waiting on the OPENROAD company to somehow make this right. So after the install of the new bumper and the install of the winch I am now left with uninstalling the winch for a return. I also have to get the new bumper welded and somehow paint/texture color matched to look like the rest of the bumper. Hello OPENROAD, are you listening? Updates to follow. Update as promised... It is now 05-10-2026 and this is my last email to OPENROAD about their business practice on compensating a customer when their product (winch) damages customer's property (bumper). Lulu, I'm feeling very deceived at this point. On March 26th 2026, was your first mention of the bumper refund in progress. On April 1st 2026, you mentioned the poor review I sent in to Amazon and asked that I either "update or remove" the review, if I feel that "you" have "done a good job helping you (me) through this and you’re (me) satisfied with my service", I'm not feeling this at this time. On April 3rd 2026, you assured me the bumper refund was being processed. On April 6th 2026, the bumper refund is still being processed. On April 8th 2026, you advised me that the bumper refund had been completed on your side. On April 22nd 2026, I asked for some documentation showing the bumper refund was in the works so I could present it to my lender. On April 24th 2026, I was given an attachment from you showing the winch refund, not the bumper refund. On April 27th 2026, you assured me the bumper refund should be reflected on my original payment method shortly. It is now May 6th 2026. All of these dates are from our exchanged emails. It's called a paper trail. If I don't see any movement on this matter by Friday, May 8th 2026, either from Affirm or your company, this entire email is going to be my new review. Please see the attachment showing my original payment method, business address of the lender, loan number, and the original cost of the bumper OPENROAD's defective winch destroyed. It's very sad that it has come to this, but just what is a company other than its word?
