Absolutely Worth the Price
I LOVE this backpack. It is the best pack pack I have ever had. I have bought a new backpack every 2/3 years since I was in elementary school and I'm 30. I have tried lots of different styles of backpacks and this is awesome. The straps are super comfortable. I'm a little bonier in my shoulders so this is a huge plus for me. I have worn it for over an hour at the airport without my shoulders hurting. The padding on the back is great and I love that it is a little bit longer. Some packs sit right above my tailbone which can become uncomfortable and put pressure on my low back. This one fits me perfectly. It is absolutely water resistant. My colleague spilt coffee on it just yesterday (literally coffee pouring onto my backpack) and it wiped off easily and nothing inside was wet. It also doesn't look like it stained (I have the jet black static). I also live in Seattle and am walking around in the rain quite often. Even when the outside of the pack is damp, the inside is still dry. The longest it's been consistently in the rain is about 30 minutes. The compartments work really well for me. I keep my laptop in the back compartment. In the mid compartment I have 2/3 journals at any given time, my physical therapy kit (5 bands, small towel, lacrosse ball, cloth bag), my journal kit (10 different writing and drawing utensils and pencil sharpener) and I have enough room to put a binder or overnight clothes. In the next compartment that has smaller pouches I have my wallet, togo tissues, chapstick, passport, and my hygiene kit (7 or so different toiletries) and a fire kit. The very front small pocket I have my electronics (charger, portable charger, wireless earbuds and charging case, 2 back up ear buds)Hope that was helpful!

Keeps You Organized, Comfortable for Heavy Travel
After 3 weeks of heavy business travel through remote villages, factories, city streets, and various side adventures I am now a big fan of Timbuk2. It was comfortable despite being loaded down with heavy electronics, travel essentials, etc even on a sprint or two between airport gates. The covered zippers kept out the dust and the mesh vents made it cool to wear on the hottest days. The internal organization made finding everything an ease and - more importantly - unloading/reloading at security points painless. The side water bottle sleeve stretches enough to accommodate some odd shaped bottles but holds them tight enough to withstand being tossed about. My Maui Jim's fit in the top eyeglass pocket inside their 2.5" wide case. The built in lanyard kept my keys safe and out of the way until, roaming hands full through a wet parking lot, I was back home needed to quickly find them. While I have not yet put its water resistance to the test, I did give the exterior a good wipe down with a soapy cloth and the inside appeared to remain completely dry.I hesitated buying this due to the price but would do so again without question and have recommended the brand to several folks already.

Sleek, durable, great warranty
This bag has been my daily pack for the past year. It's got all the pockets and space needed for someone with a laptop, various cables, notebooks, and other miscellaneous things. Best of all, even when it's filled to 100% capacity, it manages to somehow stay sleek-looking, which is unusual for a back pack. I've carried it on rainy days, nothing penetrates it, and it's very comfortable on my back. The thick padding on the back, plus the front buckle help with that. A fairy large water bottle will fit in the mesh bottle holder on the side, although it's not the most secure thing ever -- if the bag tips upside down, that bottle will likely be slipping out.One of the best things I noticed about this pack is that it can be taken to the Timbuk2 store in the Mission District, San Francisco, for free repairs. After one year I'd noticed the right-hand shoulder strap had a small split in one of the seams. I brought it in, and within three hours, at zero cost, the in-house tailer had fixed the issue. They even gave me a loaner backpack to use while mine was in the shop. Really impressed with Timbuk2's service and quality of products.
