More Gray Than Black (But I Like)
This is a great cue for its price. Played with it for a few games and there is kind of a ping to the contact, but nothing physically wrong with how it handles or makes the ball react. It's also more gray than black than I expected (see my review photos), which is actually a big plus to me since I already had other similar cues in black. Just wanted to try this to compare and it's just as well built--if not better! 3/8 10 connector joints fit nicely, although somethings off when trying to use a 3/8 10 mid-shaft extension (it's a McDermott extension maybe?! Idk...) However, it feels very sturdy and much of the weight is at the base. Only flaw i saw was in the shaft/tip, where it appeard to be a manufacturer defect (came with a chip), but it's super hard to notice without pointing it out. Also, the tip will need to be ground down and rounded for proper shape and contact. Still amazing!

Good price point
Purchased for my dad. He likes them. He didn’t want to pay hundreds for a pool stick.

Good cue for the price
Nice cue for the price. Has a pretty hard tip. I bought it for a house cue for the kids and their friends.

Didn't live up to expectations even at the price.
This review is for the "Ultra Professional Pool Cue, 2 Piece 58” 20oz 13mm Premium Tip, Pool Stick, Pool Sticks, Pool Cues, Cue Stick, Pool Cue Stick, Taco De Billar, Pool Table Stick, Billiard Cue Stick" that I ordered via the Vine program. I like to keep a few inexpensive pool cues in my rack at home for use during parties or for my grandkids to use. This cue looked well made in the online listing but unfortunately didn't live up to expectations. Yes, it's an inexpensive cue, but others in this price range are better built and finished. At this price range I'm looking for the basics: a decent finish, proper weight, and most importantly, no warpage. I first test the cue for straightness and noticed a bit of unevenness when rolling the assembled cue on the table. I then disassembled it and tested it on my cue straightness rollers and found that the butt section was straight, but the pin just ever so slightly misaligned. The shaft section exhibited a slight vibration at the tip as well. Then assembled, it became apparent that the joint section wasn't properly aligned and added a slight bend to the cue. This amplified the alignment issues and caused the cue to have a definite high spot at the joint. Thankfully, this wasn't severe enough to affect playability but is worth noting. I also did not like the graphite finish on the cue. While the finish was evenly applied, it feels gritty to the touch and the shaft does not slide smoothly when stroking the cue. At slower speeds, the friction was enough to actually cause the cue to stick to my hand. This finish, in my opinion, is uncomfortable to play with. The cue measured 58.5" from tip to butt cap and tip measured 12.5mm using my digital calipers. The joint was relatively loose throughout the threads and only tightened up once fully seated against the butt. As noted above, the joints were not properly faced and do not align perfectly straight giving the cue a bit of a warp. The advertised weight for this cue was 20oz and my measurements were 19.25oz. The cue was a bit butt heavy with the balance point about 1-1.5in within the wrap section. No joint protectors were included. It's also worth noting that the tip arrived with no shaping whatsoever, so some time is needed to cut and shape it to the desired curvature. I played a few racks with this cue and found that it played adequately. I didn't care for the tip and did have some issues applying more extreme English even after properly shaping it, but that can be easily replaced. The cue also exhibited a high pitched "tink" noise occasionally, but I couldn't find anything visibly loose around the tip or shaft that would have caused it. For the asking price this is an ok quality cue. I'm not a big fan of the finish or the tip, and also not happy with the joint alignment and warpage. I would not order again as there are other inexpensive house cues that are much better put together.
