A Game-Changer in Heating and Cooling: Vortex Air Fan Heater Hot + Cool
I recently purchased the Vortex Air Fan Heater Hot + Cool, and I have to say, it has completely exceeded my expectations. This sleek and innovative tower heater with bladeless fans combines both heating and cooling technologies, making it a versatile and essential addition to any home. One of the standout features of this heater is its bladeless design, which not only adds a modern touch to my living space but also provides a safer and more efficient way to distribute hot or cold air. The oscillating function ensures that the air is evenly distributed throughout the room, creating a comfortable environment in no time. With its powerful 1,650W heating capability and 10-speed settings, this heater is perfect for keeping me warm during the chilly winter months. And when the temperatures rise, the cooling function works like a charm to provide relief from the summer heat. What truly sets the Vortex Air Fan Heater apart is its performance compared to the Dyson version. Having used both, I can confidently say that the Vortex Air Fan Heater comes close, if not surpasses, the Dyson version in terms of functionality and affordability. Plus, the black graphite finish adds a touch of elegance to any room.Overall, I am extremely satisfied with my purchase of the Vortex Air Fan Heater Hot + Cool. It offers the perfect combination of style, functionality, and value for money. If you're in the market for a versatile and efficient heating and cooling solution, look no further than this impressive tower fan heater. Highly recommended!

Good fan
It works well blows cool air and also warm air. It’s a lot quieter than some other fans but it’s a good white noise.

Works great for my large bedroom
The media could not be loaded. Does take a little bit of time to warm up and it does make noise, which doesn't bother me. I have a very cold bedroom in winter and this helps so much, I now have to switch it off because I get to warm. Plus it looks great.

A heater masquerading as a fan
These ring fans came out like a decade or so ago and were always overpriced for the time, like retailing at £600 and so - figured it has been enough time for them get better and for the price to drop, and it seems as such, considering this was £150 which is a much more reasonable price, it seemed to me.It's a pretty sleek item, and can easily fit into any room and has a nice wide base at the bottom to give it some extra sturdiness even if you seat it on a thick carpet, so that's nice. The size is somewhat awkward - it's too big for a desk fan, and it's generally too small for a room fan. It looks stumpy on the floor and much too large on a surface - but I guess it's meant for the floor. It pretty much came out of the box fully assembled too, just had to attach the stand which is twist and lock. The cooling function is pretty lackluster, I'm not going to lie. It's quiet until you reach fan speed 4/10, and from that point on it's just a noisemaker. Worse yet? I recently did some hard work in the garden during a warm sunny day and came in sweltering and sweating profusely, made a beeline for this fan, plonked myself 1M in front of it and switched it on 10/10 speed and...it felt like a light breeze at best.Even leaving it on at night at setting 3/10 so it's quiet and then letting it oscillate back and forth in the room barely has any affect on the temperature, you're just wasting 2p an hour electric really!Do not buy this if you are looking for a cooling fan. However, it's among the best heaters I've ever bought. Seriously. It gets warm quickly, and there's a noticable difference between the three different heat settings - although I always set it to H3 (max) and leave it. Where I have this thing situated is in a big double room (we knocked the wall through and combined dining room + living room) and this heater (I struggle to call it a fan) was able to make the opposite side of the room (some 7-8M away) feel warm and cosy, and it was downright toasty over near the heater itself, blasting heat into the room back and forth. So, it's worth the money as a heater, definitely. I'm going to buy another closer to Winter for the bedroom, or maybe the hallway, depending!Generally happy with this purchase - ironically if it was marketed as purely a heater then my review would be 5/5 because it's better than every other space heater I've used over the last decade by far. It's just a really, really naff fan. If you're shopping around for something to keep you cool this Spring - Summer, I recommend looking elsewhere - find yourself a nice fan with metal blades, or as many plastic blades as you can find, like Noctua or Duux.Cheers!

The power of a flee breaking wind!!!
I had such high hopes for this product! The design looked nice and the idea is amazing! However, when it turned up within 5 minutes of putting it together it was apparent that there was nowhere near enough power that would be needed. To top it off the product was delivered 2 miles from my house even though I was home when they "tried" to deliver. To set the scene I have a tiny office (I could not fit a single bed in the room without my desk!) which gets cold in winter and hot in summer! If I was to use this fan it would have to sit between me and the screen of my computer to be of any use. When I asked for a return as it was not fit for use I was charged £30 postage to return! For now, I picked up a cheap £60 Fan for the hot summer (not going to say what it is as I want this review to speak for itself) and I will deal with the heating issue later this year.Would be a good fan if you where in a 1 person tent with a power socket! but would not pay the price tag!
