Xylitol dental mints to reduce plaque development
I bought these dental tablets to help reduce plaque development between my dental cleanings. I received my order two weeks ago and am using them as recommended. However, it’s too early to evaluate results yet. The mints have a pleasant peppermint flavor and are sugar free. They don’t contain aspartame. The xylitol in the mints is supposed to reduce the staphylococcus mutans in our mouths that cause plaque build up on our teeth. I just had a dental cleaning two weeks ago and my teeth do feel smooth so I don’t believe I’ve developed much plaque since my cleaning. I’ll know more in November when I go for another cleaning. If the xylitol works, it’s supposed to result in a smooth feeling on your teeth rather than the fuzziness often felt when plaque begins to build up. If it works, my hygienist would likely not have to spend as much time during the cleaning removing plaque. I told her I was going to try this so we can evaluate its effectiveness in November at my next visit.

Good for dentist, not for dogs.
These say your dentist will thank you, and they really do prevent your teeth from having that peach fuzz grime that develops throughout the day. SUPER minty tasting too!! Though I looked it up and xylitol is very dangerous for dogs, so keep these put away.
