Powerful magnet. Wish the pole was longer, I’m 5’7 and feel like I have to bend over a little. The pole closes up too, can’t figure out how to make it stay extended. But it does work well. The one wheel won’t spin, so I just drag it along. Worth the price.

I was pleasantly surprised at just how well this SEDY magnetic sweeper worked. After our contractor completed work on our screened in patio enclosure, we found there were a lot of screws and small metal pieces laying about the yard area. A few passes over the yard with this unit and I couldn't believe the amount of metal pieces it picked up - with virtually no effort on my part. Works well, (push, don't pull, as the handle may come out when pulling) and be amazed at what you find. 5 STARS AND I DO RECOMMEND THIS ITEM I write honest reviews based on real life experience with each item to help others make informed purchases. So far it looks pretty solid. 4.5 stars until I get to use it after the roof gets replaced. The handle is definitely far too short unless you are less than 5 feet tall yourself. I extended mine by removing the plastic handle and pushing a slightly smaller diameter piece of metal shaft from an old broom that fit snuggly and perfectly. It is now 5 1/2 feet tall! The magnetic tray isn't part of the retrieval system. It's simply a place to put retrieved ferrous metal. Don't try looking for lost coins, gold, non-metallic jewelry as one reviewer mistakenly thought. The strength of the magnet seems pretty good but if you drag it through grass that is tall the retrieved metal might just pull off. Pulling rather than pushing might solve that, but it remains to be seen. The metallic tray might be useful for retrieving some fishing gear lying in the bottom of your favorite lake if you fashion a few nylon chords in strategically placed holes on each end. So far, I'll give it a solid 4 1/2 stars for being sturdy and functional. It readily attracts the washers and bolts used to attach the solid plastic wheels. Price point was great and I appreciated that one reviewers comments that the $50 version magnets were definitely no stronger than these $22 magnets.

Didn't have high expectations from the reviews, but it surprised me! It's not meant for large areas. Read the size! It's holding up well for our purpose! For the sideway and shell area, wheels roll smooth. For grass, I took the wheels off and it grabs way better. Slowly dragging it behind you and holding it softly, you can do figure 8's and it holds up great. Pushing it is not the best. I just dragged it behind me and did a few passes at different angles. It being lightweight, makes it simple to follow behind, pick up to clear magnet and keep moving. Don't push on the pole while using and you won't have a problem!!

It absolutely works! Impressed with how many nails, screws, and drillbits that it has picked up and I got the smallest one because I didn't know how well it would work. The only complaint my husband has is he wished the handle was longer.

Easy assembly, very effective. Found over 8 nails when movers finished packing crates. The only problem was the handle kept collapsing. I liked the spare tray, too, as it was a helpful place to put the nails as the bar picked them up.

This rolling manet was easy to assemble. The magnet is strong. This does the job. picks up pins from the wife's sewing room, to nails, nuts and bolts screws dropped in a yard or driveway. It has a telescoping handle, which pulls out for use or push back in for storage.

Had my roof done, purchased this prior. After they “cleaned up” I ran this around my house and found a lot they missed. Highly recommend this product and love the magnetic tray it comes with to hold the material. Only wish I had purchased the larger size

Excellent tool. Ferrous material just flies onto it. Only minor criticism (although it wouldn't stop me giving it 5*) is that the telescopic handle doesn't lock so, if you're pushing it on a surface with restance, such as grass or gravel, the telescopic mechanism collapses. Easily fixed with a piece of duct tape around the 2 junctions.

Fantastic tool. Love it so much. I even found loose change along with the screws. Bonus!

We just had a new roof replacement done. When looking at our stoned driveway after work was complete we seen a lot of nails. This was the best buy and worth every penny. I am sure it lifted up 200 nails/screws
