This breaker bar is long, solid, and clearly built to handle stubborn wheel nuts. The 600mm length gives you plenty of leverage, which makes a big difference when dealing with bolts that won’t budge. I’ve tried shorter bars on the same jobs and struggled—this one just gets it done. The flexible (knuckle) head is a nice bonus. It helps when you’re working in tighter spaces or at awkward angles, and it doesn’t feel loose or weak at all. There’s no worrying flex or feeling like it’s about to give way—it feels strong and well controlled. Build quality is very good. It’s heavy enough to feel durable without being awkward to use. The black finish still looks fine after repeated use, and overall it feels like a tool that will last for years rather than something disposable. I bought this breaker bar to use with a 17mm rim socket. The reason being that the nuts on our wheels were put on so tight, that the L-shaped wrench that comes with the car was basically useless - it kept slipping off the nuts and the hexagonal grip part soon got damaged & out of shape. Using this tough breaker bar with a 1/2 rim socket (17mm) solved the problem in just minutes! We were able to get all the wheel nuts off and change the tyre oursevles. The breaker bar is also ideal for applying just the right amount of torque to get the wheel nuts back on. Don't rely on that rubbish L-shaped wrench to get you out of a bind on a cold winter's night. Investing in a breaker bar + dedicated rim socket is the only way to make sure you're not stranded in a country lane, waiting hours for the AA to show up!

I purchased this about a year ago to help with removing the rear wheel nut on my motorcycle. Ive used it about 7 times since on my bike, a friends bike, and even lent it out for my boss to use (who also purchased one afterwards). Makes getting nuts off so much easier than with a tiny spanner or socket set! Feels good and strong, not too heavy or light, and doesnt feel cheap or flimsy. With proper care, I can't see that i will ever need to replace it. It's also not static - it can be used at different angles which is a nice design, as it means i don't feel like I'm going to wack something while initially applying the force to remove the nut. Definitely worth purchasing if you think you'll need it even just a couple of times a year

A solid and well-made torque bar, with a spring stud to keep a large socket in place. The articulated 1/2 inch drive end swivels past the right angle each way, 240 degrees total movement. A nice touch. There may be other bars slightly cheaper but I think it’s worth paying for the Duratech quality.

I was skeptical this breaker bar would make removing stuck bolts 'easy'. I knew it would work, eventually, but I thought there would still be some sweat involved, maybe some @#&$!! LOL I'm not tall, I'm in OK shape, I can open most jars. I just bought a mower and wanted to change blades which involves nuts and bolts. I thought a normal ratchet would work, despite what some reviewers said. Nope, breaker bar required. This worked so easily, with very little effort. Yay! Give this and a 1/2 drive socket set to graduates, as wedding gifts, or for house warming gifts. Every home should have this. Makes repairs, upgrades, and DIY so much less stressful and will save you money in the long run. This is well made and sturdy. You need 1/2 inch drive sockets to use it. The drive is the part that clicks in to the socket so you have a handle, it has only 4 sides, not the size of the nut or bolt you are working on, that's the other side of the socket and has a star pattern. Also, there's no button on the breaker bar for quick release of the socket. You just pull it straight up and off. Great tool!

Non ho ancora avuto il piacere di provarla ma al primo contatto debbo dire che sembra bella solida e di buona fattura. La lunghezza e’ quella giusta per applicare maggior forza nello svitare un dado/bullone bloccato. Arrivato ben tre giorni prima del previsto quindi tutto bene
