Light and comfortable
Item arrived safely and on time. This is a great daytime work watch that will not break the bank. I have a 7 and one quarter inch wrist and it can be adjusted to fit comfortably. The braclet is stainless steel and does not rip a lot of my wrist hair off. The watch is thin light and I forget I have it on. It can keep track of 2 time zones 2nd zone indicated by the DL, it has a stopwatch function, an alarm and can display month/date/day. The only drawbacks are the watch hands have no lume (illumination) and the digital display has no light. I would not shower with this watch on or submerge it underwater but rain and hand washing splashes should be ok. Going in knowing all of this I hope will help you make a final decision.

A more formal but still inexpensive Casio - needs a light
I almost rated this a 3 instead of 4. It really should have a light. But, it would still be difficult to read the LCD display as it is very small. I have several inexpensive digital and analog Casios, a Citizen ECO drive rockin' a NATO strap (great watch) as well as a Bulova (gold hands on white face that I can't read without glasses so it stays in the box). Once in while a watch with a more formal appearance is warranted and I got this purely to have a "dress" watch with digital capabilities. Part of that capability should be a light but oh well. Other than that shortcoming this is a very decent watch. The silver hands and markers on the black face are readable for the most part to my late 50's eyes. The digital display below them is not readable for me without glasses. But I can't read the date on most digital watches nor the date window on most analogs so, not complaining too much about that. However it does have dual time, alarm, date and stopwatch. I wish the gold version of this watch was available with a dark face, I would have preferred that but, this a very handsome watch for the price. It is a resin body so, I would expect over time the chrome with wear off but, for the price that's ok. It doesn't look like resin it looks like polished metal. I would prefer a light and slightly better water resistance but it is what it is. Size wise this is a small thin watch that is designed to slide under a shirt sleeve without catching. It is the size dress watches used to be. Just large enough to read without getting in the way of anything. This watch does pack a lot of features into a minimalist package.Haven't tried it but, I suspect this watch could be paired with a thin leather band as well

Exactly as pictured
Got as a gift for my boyfriend and besides the box coming semi-beat up, the actual watch came in just fine. I am happy with this purchase and would recommend to anyone trying to expand into watches like he is.

Caveat emptor! Vendor "Mr Watch" is Toxic
Vendor "Mr Watch" withheld until after I purchased the watch the information that the user should have the battery changed only by a vendor or jeweler. My previous Casio watch lasted 20+ years, and its battery was changed at least 5 times. Only once was it changed by a vendor, who charged $5 for the service. If I had paid $5 every time the battery was changed, I would have spent more on battery changes than on the original watch purchase. Therefore, I planned to change the battery on the new watch myself, and I would never have bought this watch if the vendor had not withheld the information that the battery should be changed only by a vendor or jeweler: "We ["Mr Watch"] do recommend taking the watch to a local jeweler to have the battery replaced, as if the watch is damaged while you are replacing the battery, you will not be able to return this for a refund or a replacement."Furthermore, I learned only after the purchase that the vendor retains the shipping charges ($6.95) under the vendor's so-called refund policy:"Returned items must meet three simple requirements:1. Products are not eligible for return if they have been worn, used, adjusted,or sized. 2. Any defects need to be reported to us within 10 days of receipt ofthe item to avoid the warranty process. 3. The original manufacturer packagingand materials must be returned in their original condition."On the front of your packing slip there should be return instructions that youcan follow in order to return the watch. For all domestic orders, on the back ofyour packing slip is a prepaid return address label that you can use to send theproduct back to us. If you choose to use this label, there will be a $6.95 feededucted from your refund. Also, per our return policy, if you received freeshipping on your original order there will be a flat $5.00 deducted from yourrefund.""Please note that in accordance with our return policy that shippingfees are non-refundable."In other words, I, the deceived buyer, was supposed to pay for returning an item I would never have ordered if the deceptive vendor had not withheld key information about battery-changing. I contacted Amazon about this matter and was given a full refund by Amazon.Peripherally: the band is a dud. Locking it so that it will not fall off the wrist is not possible. It is treacherous. It gives the appearance of being securely clasped but isn't; instead, it slides off as surreptitiously as a loose lizard. Moreover, even when it is firmly clasped, any degree of play in the band will allow it to undo itself -- and Casio recommends that its watches be worn loosely enough to permit a finger to pass between the band and the arm, so resting the hand in one's lap, for example, is enough to buckle the band and loosen the clasp.I could make more angry comments about this experience, but reliving it all just re-swells my spleen, and I've already lost too much time and serenity cursing the vendors and their weasely forebears. I hate the sight of this watch, and I can't even return it because I would be charged a shipping fee for doing so! Maybe I'll give it to someone I don't like...
