Genuine Fred WONDERBALL The Mystic Mirroball, Disco Ball Decision Maker and Fortune Teller, Iridescent Finish, Gift-Ready Packaging, Retro Party Accessories

I had the magic 8 ball as a kid and loved it, now "Fred" makes it in a Disco Ball.I have a few other "Fred" items and they make good/fun/funny products. This one fits in that same category.Not worth deducting any stars, but it is a little hard to read some answers. The "Answer Cube" floats around in a purpleish oil. When you shake it and the answer rises to the top, it still has a little purple oil on top of the letters making it a little hard to read.With my glasses on and a good light it isn't hard to read at all.The Disco Ball is almost 4 inches in diameter and it has 20 different, unique answers.

I’m all for iridescent, so when this popped up on my recommended I thought it’d make a fun addition to my gaming desk. It does look cool, and while personally I take divination seriously, I still appreciate the fun of Magic 8-balls.The answers are amusing, not outdated in a 70s polyester bell-bottom suit kind of way, like I thought it might be (thank goodness). However, one definite downside is I struggle actually reading the fortune.The inner piece doesn’t rise to the window clearly, so the mystery blue fluid often covers it, making it difficult to decipher the words. I had a different traditional one many years ago that eventually began to sink over time and also turn unreadable but this one didn’t really work properly straight out of the package. It’s about a 1/5 chance of getting a clear answer. Because of that, I don’t use it much. It’s fun but not always functional. For that reason I feel the quality doesn’t accurately match the price.

It's not the classic trademarked one but it's cheap and told me I should give it five stars. Who am I to doubt the magic?

Cute gift for younger kids, it doesn't always lay the triangle down flat so you have to shake it a little until it levels out. Fun sayings on it and looks cute.

I got this for a NYE party as a fun accessory to have on the bar. Disco ball color is a light purple / white-ish color. Answers are more funny / quippy than a normal 8-ball. Really cute gift or fun with friends.

This 'disco magic 8 ball' is a cool idea but the execution leaves a bit to be desired. There are already cracks forming underneath the disco shell. When I hold it in the light, I can see spiderweb cracks under the plastic, but I haven't dropped it or anything. The triangle cube thing inside with the phrases often gets stuck on a side or corner, so the fortune is not immediately apparent and has to be jiggled to show up.

Wow! This brings back lots of memories of playing with the magic 8 ball with my kids. My granddaughter (13 years old) loves the magic 8 ball. So she's sure to love this Wonderball/Mystic Mirrorball. It looks like one of the old disco balls. I shook it a few times while still in the box and the phrases changed each time. Cute gift that's reminiscent of simpler times. Very pleased.
