Some people have bought this and have been disappointed that it was not dishwasher safe. Product label said it was definitely dishwasher safe and it has survived intact from my dishwasher so far.This bottle definitely feels sturdy and well made, similar to other popular brands. It says it will maintain cold for 12 hours. I usually finish my drink way before that so I can only say that it does it's job well.Concerning what others have said about the fill line being difficult to see: there is a very lightly etched fill line on the outside, but also a very obvious fill line on the inside. Since the opening is so small (to accommodate the sodastream) I can see why people might have trouble seeing it. It's visible in the picture for reference. I feel like this is a fair trade off for being able to carbonate right in the bottle. Note that the fill line is lower than would be in the standard plastic 1L bottles. I transferred some water from the plastic bottle (since it was already cold) to this one and didn't realize this, resulting in water coming out during carbonation. If you follow the actual fill line in the bottle you shouldn't have any problems.Other positives: it fits right in my cup holder. It also definitely holds carbonation better than the plastic bottles.Overall I'm happy I purchased this. I got it discounted on prime day, but could see myself getting this full price as it is very convenient to and fits with the sodastream system well.

Because of the pressure of carbonation, you can't put sparkling water in an ordinary water bottle. I have another brand that can handle carbonated drinks, but this SodaStream version takes it to another level since I can create my sparkling water directly inside the bottle. It fits my SodaStream Terra and will work with any SodaStream that uses the pink cartridges. I just wish it were easier to see the fill line.The bottle itself has excellent build quality, and it keeps the water (or soda, if you want) cold for a long time -- at least 8 hours and probably more. Obviously, once you drink it down, it starts to go flat over time as more surface area is exposed. The screw top twists enough time to provide both a leak-proof seal (I stored it on its side and not a drop escaped) and to keep the carbonation inside. Although the width is a little wide for my smaller hands, it still fits -- but barely -- in my car's cupholder.-- Debbie Lee Wesselmann

Love this bottle! Fits my Terra machine perfectly. Kept my water cold for over 7 hours. So much better than the plastic Sodastream bottles. The bottle is well made and has a convenient handle. Fits my car cup holder. So glad to have something I can take for the day. I left it in a hot car over an hour in 90 plus degree heat. Water still cold. I left a plastic Sodastream bottle in the car for half an hour once and it warped. Definitely recommended this bottle.

I would give zero stars if possible. Bought to bring to work and ot does not hold the carbonation. Plus you need to use already cold water, does not get very cold inside the fridge. I returned it and will bring a "my only bottle" to work

The absolute best sodastream accessory I've ever bought. Keeps it cold for 8 hours minimum. I love it. Does not hold a full 1 litre of water, so you need to get an old sodastream bottle, and mark the side where this water line should be.

I can only assume this was on sale because they are dented, at least mine was...as well as super tidious to fill. Ive never found it harder to fill a bottle. It's almost impossible to see inside to get to the line (no way to see on the outside). You need to find an overhead light and position yourself perfectly while you pour in small doses because because you cant see while pouring. It's too tough to do, I was done after the second time. For that alone it should be 2 stars... because its also doesn't fill to the same amount as your traditional clear bottle the Sodastream comes with. Keep reading and I'll tell you a trick.The good thing is I defiantly found that water remains sparkly longer than in the clear plastic. Normally If I left half in the fridge overnight, the next day it was almost flat. With this bottle you still have enough to enjoy so thats a great reason to get if you use my trick to fill....Fill this thermos once to the line (it will take a bit). transfer to your current plastic bottle. It will ve about 3/4 to 1 inch less than the clear bottle. Mark it. I carved a line with a knife and filled the mark with black sharpie.From now on just fill the clear bottle to the line first and transfer to this thermos. Sure its another step or two and you need to keep your clear bottles handy but if you don't drink the full bottle at once I recommend it.

It’s good quality but you’d think since the manufacturer makes the product it would fit the soda stream flawlessly. Nope. Bottle gets stuck every time and got to wrestle it out to the point of almost breaking the soda stream. Come on. Who engineered this?

Holds temperature and carbonation very well, but difficult to fill with precision to the line in order to add CO2 via Sodastream machine. Works great with our E-Duo machine!
