I don’t use a lot of cash these days so usually carry only cards, plus some paper money if I can. This card holder sounded like it should be ideal for my purposes, and in many ways it is. I try to carry on those cards I need to, and this device easily handles them plus more if necessary. There is a fabric section on the back for folded notes too and even a section for a small number of coins. The main section of the card holder releases them with a slider which lifts them out with a slight difference in height for each so that they can be separated. Cleverly, even if only one or two cards are in this section they don’t fall out as there is enough of a hold to keep them in place securely. The ‘adaptive’ section is a metal plate on one side which is held by strong elasticated bands which allow it to open and take many more cards. With so many positive points I should be really pleased with this device, especially as it feels quite robust and works well. The downside for me is that it is still relatively bulky and I struggle to fit it comfortably in a trouser pocket – front or back. It is much better placed in a jacket pocket or a bag where the bulk matters less, and although marketed as a men’s wallet I can see this working perfectly for anyone who carries a handbag. However, I only carry 4-5 cards so for me I’m better off with the old fabric sleeve that I used before.

I have seen a lot of metal box type wallets for sale and this one claims to have even more space for cards. The main section holds up to 7 cards and the expanding section holds up to an additional 15 cards..In addition, there is a soft holder on one side for notes and coins. The only problem is that the wallet is quite bulky and the hard corners press on the inside of pockets considerably, leading to more wear. If you are looking for a slim wallet to replace a large bulky one there are plenty of better alternatives.

But for someone like me who carries only a few bills, it works just fine. Overall, this wallet is an excellent blend of style, functionality, and security. I’ve been recommending it to friends, and I’m very happy with my purchase!
