This is my first using shilajit for the health benefits. I was a little skeptical due to reading a lot of reviews talking about the taste of it. I did 3 at home tests….burn test….it turned to ash, never caught on fire, dissolving in water with nothing floating around in it and no residue, acid test…dissolving in water and then adding a teaspoon of vinegar to it. Impure will have bubbles once vinegar is added to it so it passed on all 3 tests done. When I drank it…it literally just tasted like water so then I began to think maybe this isn’t pure shilajit resin because there is no flavor to it. So I came back to Amazon to their product and read the details. It states on there that it’s unflavored. So I’m thinking something derived from the earth should have a flavor to it right? Like that earthy taste. Not sure how they made it unflavored but I’m going to give a try and see what changes that I see as far as energy, mental clarity etc so that’s what I’m giving only 4 stars for now.
