This is the go-to stove paint.
Anyone who has painted their wood stove after several seasons should know that Stovebright is the best stove paint on the market. It's what the manufacture's use so matching color is simple. Paint before season starts allowing it to fully cure before first use. Clean stove thoroughly of dust and rust. Do Not apply in a thick coat as this will lead to peeling during usage. Multiple light coats are preferred.

Can get great results, but tricky to apply.
Used it to paint a gas fireplace surround. Painted over an older coat of different paint. After shaking well, still got a second or two of poorly mixed paint so make sure to practice on another surface. After that, the paint quality was good. We had a drop of paint come out a few times, but wiped it up with a paper towel right away and repainted the area. Had a few spots where the original brass showed through the old paint and the Stovebright paint would bead up badly so make sure you prime or have a good paint base. The final paint looked great and had a very nice texture. Fire place looks new!

Charcoal Gray looks black
The color is not as expected. It looks black. I thought it would look more gray. I would not purchase this color again. Obviously I cannot return because I used it, but not happy with the off black, not gray color.

This is definitely NOT worth $20, I should have just went with Rustoleum high heat and saved money.

No such color as "Copperfield Charcoal"
I bought this paint because it was "Copperfield Charcoal" with an unusual color that looked perfect for my project. What came to me was plain old "Charcoal" color. I would not have bought it had I known this. It's kind of a bait and switch, so I'm disappointed. However, I do like Stove Bright paints.

Solid product with great results
Turned our outdated metal gold fireplace insert into a more modern updated one. The paint was really easy to apply, I think it’s damn near streak proof, & we only used one can for the entire insert. It came out a little darker than I was thinking but I love it! Huge change to the living room with a very small price tag!
