This UV nail lamp is sturdy, well-made, and works perfectly. It cures gel polish fast and evenly, and I love that it’s roomy enough for both hands. The automatic sensor and timer settings make it really easy to use. You just slide your hand in and it starts right up. It feels solid, not flimsy like some cheaper ones I’ve tried, and the lights are strong without overheating. For the price, the quality and functionality are impressive. It does exactly what it’s supposed to and gives a smooth, long-lasting finish every time. Definitely a great value for at-home manicures.

This is a reliable, easy to operate lamp. There are no bells and whistles but IT WORKS GREAT for a good price! It's not huge so it's relatively easy to move around but it is a bit too large for the basic, standard size polish bags with storage up top for a lamp. The smaller ones that sometimes come with kits fit in those, so it's bigger than those are. As far as "bang for your buck" goes it's 10)10 IMO

Just got into doing my own nails because it got to expensive. I got a gel kit and ordered this lamp to go with it. Affordable and works great! Very lightweight and portable making it easy to use.

I'm looking forward to trying this UV LED nail lamp. It has a nice variety of features, a warranty for one year (I think), and it's very sturdily made. I'm not sure I'd describe it as "Compact" as it's quite a bit larger than the very small unit I got with a gel nail polish kit. But it seems to be of salon quality, if I'm any judge of that as a non-salon amateurist. I could see this being used in a salon. It's really a nice unit. So far I'm really impressed. I may update this review after trying it. Based on my age and experience with all kinds of electronic devices, this looks like it's probably a good product. The only concern I might have is UV exposure, since it sits up a little higher than the tiny unit I have. However, that being said, if anyone is using a UV light, they should wear eye protection, if they think there is enough light escaping the lamp to be perceived as a bright light. I use a lapidary and gemologist UV light that requires the wearing of UV/blue blocking glasses with yellow lenses. It's my understanding some of those rays may travel at angles that might project outward and away, and not strictly in a direct line. Take care of your vision, and if you think this light appears bright to you, by all means, wear eye protection. Am planning to read all the product literature to ensure I'm exercising the proper eye protection precautions prior to using this light. If there is an edge that hangs downward a little so as to shield the LED/UV individual bulbs, I will have less concern about the UV light factor. From my limited experience with lapidary equipment, you will want to be SURE you are using this unit safely. My opinion is it looks like it's of high quality, feels solid, and appears to be very well designed. That, and the company has been in business for a relatively long time, in terms of longevity in the beauty care business. The Nail Lamp is much, much nicer for the price I paid, than I had expected.

I love Melody Susie products, but I was disappointed with the performance of this unit. It seemed to take three times as long to get a good solid cure than my previous one that lasted nearly a decade. It's cute. It's lightweight. It just doesn't seem as effective as it should be.

This light is awesome and an upgrade from my old one! So nice that my daughter stole it from me and took it to college. She does her nail every week and this works great for her! We love the different time settings and auto start.

Cures fast ! I love how sturdy it is. Haven’t had any complaints.

Lights do not cover all sides of each nail.
