These really did the trick for my patio umbrella/wicking planter stand to hold the umbrella tight. I didn't want to drill holes in the pipe nor the umbrella. This is perfect for my use. I'll probably spritz it with black paint or use some decorative ribbon or something to hide the apparatus or just leave it for the plants to hide. I bought a couple different sizes to accommodate different size umbrella poles

*It arrived early and in time for the project to replace a commercial disposal with a smaller one in a church kitchen prep sink.*It fit perfectly and it made it very easy to make the new installation in a very tight location.*Best of all, it didn't leak at all when we filled a 15 gallon sink and turned on the new disposal to really put some pressure on the fitting. Not one drop.*We took all the PVC fittings back to the hardware store and saved much more than this boot cost us.*We are very happy with the results.

Needed 2" x 1 1/4" but by accident ordered 2" x 1 2/2" and needed to replace the first order before shipment. It did not work and both products arrived at the same time. However, the seller refunded the canceled item w/out any issue. The product appears heavy duty and fits snug on galvanized pipes sch. 40. In fact, it so tight even before securing that I used WD 40 to put it on before tightening. Exceeded my expectations. Works like a charm. I would buy again from this seller.

Wish I had read the reviews. The 2" is accurate. However, the 1 1/4" listing is wrong. In fact, it is so large there is no way to tighten the clamp to hold shop vac hose in place. Very disappointing.
